KB-1313 Buttons do not work in interfaces containing grids with validations

This issue has been resolved in an Appian hotfix/new Appian version. Please apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.

Symptoms

Buttons no longer work if the interface they live in contains a grid with validations that are currently violated. The behavior is demonstrated below:

Cause

This issue has been addressed via AN-81791 in Appian 17.1 Hotfix Package B and Appian 17.2.

Action

Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.
