KB-1361 Safelink() does not download document from external system

Symptoms

When clicking the download link for a document provided by a safelink() component, no download occurs. Instead, a 403 error code is recorded in the network capture.

Cause

This issue has been reported to the Appian product team. The reference number for this issue is AN-82729.

Action

If this behavior is being experienced in IE: Access Appian through Chrome or Firefox to download the document provided by safelink().

If this behavior is being experienced in Chrome: Access Appian through IE or Firefox to download the document provided by safelink().

Affected Versions

This article applies to all versions of Appian.
