Clicking on site page tabs not reloading the site in mobile view

I am having a problem navigating back to the home screen when clicking on a site tab that is supposed to redirect to the main Interface. The tab click is perfectly reloading the interface in the desktop view but it is not working in the mobile view. Does anyone have any idea how can this work in mobile view too?

Basically, when we click on a site tab, the content on that page refreshes in the desktop view but clicking the same tab in the mobile application does not refresh the page. I don't know if this is the default behaviour or something else.
