Dark Mode in Appian

I went through the previous threads, and from a discussion 11 months ago, it was mentioned that Appian doesn't support dark mode. Are there any updates or changes on this now? I noticed that Appian does have a dark mode for sites ("Site Color Schemes - Appian 23.1"). The challenge arises in our application (and likely most applications), as we have multiple interfaces. I’ve seen many people refer to using browser extensions for this.

So, my question is: What’s the best way to incorporate Appian's dark mode into industry-level applications in 2025? If its Browser Extension, what is the safest Browser Extension?

There is no "System Level" dark mode available at the moment. It could always come in a future release. In the meantime, I would suggest you go with the dark color schemes that you posted.

That works for the site, however, how can I incorporate that for the interfaces that cover most of the UI?

For interfaces that make up most of the UI, I'd recommend centralizing the styling rather than applying it individually in every interface. One approach is to maintain common UI constants (for example, colors, themes, and styling configurations) and reference them throughout the application.

Additionally, you can apply a consistent background color and layout structure at the interface level. This helps create a common look and feel across all sites and screens and reduces the effort required to manage styling changes in the future.
