How to call the Appian objects( records) in Fitnesse script when a new window( tab) is opened by clicking a link?

Dears.,

We are expecting an issue when we click a link and it takes it to the new tab in the browser. The new tab shows the site with the record views . But, the click on Record view script is not working and the script stops working. 

Can you please help me to overcome this issue?
