multipleDropdownField Saving into Rule input(array )

Hello!

I'm currently having an issue where I make the selections in the dropdown, but when it saves to my DB it saves the first selection 2 times or 3 depending how many selections I make. Currently I'm using a local variable to save the selection. Any suggestions to make sure it saves correctly to the rule input?
