Pdf Annotations

Hello,

I need to add text to a PDF file and save it to a rule input or local variable. Is this possible in Appian? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The a!documentViewer() function allows adding text, but it doesn't save to a local variable or rule input. There's also a pdfAnnotations() plugin that lets you add text, but it requires creating an Adobe project and specifying a domain, which doesn't accept HTTPS. Assistance on this matter would be helpful. I am attaching a screenshot of the Adobe domain issue.

Thank you in Advance.

Hari Lakkam.

"https://" is not a valid part of a domain. It is the type of the communication protocol your browser uses to talk to the web server.

    Hi Stefan,

Thank you for your response. However, if I use only the appiancloud.com domain, it throws an error. I have attached an image for your reference.

Did you download the plugin and check the included documentation?

Then, in your screenshot, the error is about the domain *.appiancloud-dynamic, but not *.appiancloud.com
