Good Day Experts,

Can anyone please help me to skip SSO on embedded interface ? Instead of SSO I wanted to use generic account or service account for the Authentication and Authorization.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Kalai.

Embedded interfaces work only with SSO as the interface works in context of the currently logged in user.

The way you asked is not possible. If SSO is not configured it will prompt the user to login before rendering the Appian UI. Using generic account to authenticate may violate service agreements, I recommend checking with your account executive. Service Accounts in Appian are not allowed to login, they are intended for WebAPI authentication.

I believe Web APIs could be a good alternate for you. Appian portals could be a better fit too.

Thanks Shyam for your response. Yes, Appian portal is one of the option but We can't Embed the Portal page anywhere, that's the reason why i'm looking for the alternative.
