Task notification localized time zone possible?

We are using out of the box task notification emails and one of the influential users doesn't like the GMT origin time zone on the notification email.

I've looked in regional settings per user, looked at the emailheader.html and emailfooter.html system objects, and in admin console, but cannot find a way to localize time per user on these notifications.

I'm concerned the only alternative is to eat the system task message and pass along a custom email to the group.  Is this true, or is there something I have overlooked?

Thanks for any insight!

I can confirm that OOB task notification emails out of my production system come through in my local timezone.  I know it's a pain but I suspect you've missed a time zone setting somewhere - first and foremost, can you have this user verify that their preferred timezone is set, within their environment profile settings?  Secondly, you should double check whether the process model(s) in question are set up to override the user's preferred time zone, as that could affect things.

    Yes, thanks Mike!

I was being a chowderhead and it is in profile -> settings.  It was a user name mismatch!   Thanks!
