Upload file in Android does not show Video component

Hi All,

Video component is not showing in Android mobile Appian App when the file upload is being used. is it a bug in Appian or is there any hotfix or any other option is available? Please help

Can you explain what exactly you mean with "when the file upload is being used"?

Hi Stefan,

I am using a interface where i have used the fileupload component. When this interface ( task ) is completed in iOS Apple mobile, it shows the camera component and allows the user to either take photo and also video. But, when i use the Android mobile, the same interface does not show the Video capability. It only allows to capture the photo. So, i want to understand whether any bug is there in Appian on the fileupload component specific to Android OS?

Hard to say. There are so many variables involved. Android version, app permissions etc.

Did you test with multiple Android devices? Did you try to check and/or reset the app permissions?

If all fails, I suggest to open a support case and discuss this with Appian.
