Community Edition does not have admin rights and I’m not aware of a reset option either. Would recommend just setting up a new community account.

Otherwise you can try sending an email to CommunityEdition@appian.com.

Can you give more context on what you’re trying to do? Why do you need System Administrator privileges? You should be able to do most activities with basic user permissions.

HI @mahmoudj0003 , Usually we get basic user privileges only on community edition accounts. It works in many cases, unless you are trying to explore various areas like system logs, admin consoles, etc., which we don’t have access to.

You’re probably thinking of the old private/individual Community Edition instances (which I still miss), which have been gone now for at least a couple of years, replaced with the shared Community Edition environment, which we do not get admin rights to.

If you just want to get reset back to a default state for some reason, maybe support can help you, but most things you should be able to do yourself.  Can you provide more details as to what you need to accomplish?

"I am currently using this Community Edition instance for learning and development purposes as an Appian Developer.

Currently, the Basic User role is restricting me from critical hands-on development features, specifically:

    1. Creating Record Types from scratch (and configuring their underlying data structures/relationships).

    2. Accessing the Admin Console to practice environment configuration and plug-in management.

Having System Administrator privileges is essential for me to fully explore application design, security configurations, and backend management."
