Hi, I have created an interface where I am tracking some details which even has a Links column so I have created a paragraph/text field to receive the user's inputs (External URL links), now after the links are inserted, submitted, and saved. I am showing them up on a Record view using the links field > a!safeLink. If one link is updated by a user then it's okay its working fine and opens the window in a new tab see image 1: But if a user is updating more than 1 link then it's not differentiating between multiple links and assuming the entire entry as a single link, I tried using commas, semi color between links but nothing is working, see below: Could someone please help me with this? Hi, I have a start date and end date and the CDT type for the two fields are text. Now I need a validation that the end date should not be earlier to start date I have given one condition as  validations: if(local!endDate<=local!startDate,"End date should not be earlier than the start date",""), it is working fine if the dates are in the same year. But if I am giving the start date as today and the end date as previous year it is not working. can anyone help me with this

When using a record related action, is there a way to send other parameter values besides the identifier to the dialog screen? I want to select several rows from the read-only grid of screen#1 and pass the information of the rows to the dialog#1. Thank you

Hi there! I'm trying to have the dropdown menu display the previous selection for my interview application I am working on. In the app, you are able to edit questions that have a few categories (categories, difficulty, etc) and I want the drop down's menu to have whatever the value was before being in the placeholder spot. So, for instance, if a question was marked as Medium and I wanted to change it too Hard, then the drop down in the new interface would have Medium in the place holder. Please let me know what to include I am super lost!

Hello, I am following a guide for Appian Developer Online (80 hours). I am stuck on the "Application Building Blocks", course 3  "Design Appian Records Part 1", "Build an Application: Step 5".  On the page 4 of the document I am supposed to select aavehicle database table. However I do not have such a table and  I do not remember any steps where I was supposed to create it.  Can anyone point me where exactly in the documentation was a guide for creating an "aavehicle" database table?

Hi All, I am adding and fetching data from database through integration object and displaying it to the interface. First time when add button is clicked it gets displayed on to the interface and when second time I click on add the data gets added to DB but its not refreshing to interface. I have used the refresh variable in the interface as well. Can anyone please help help me.

Hello, As I am new to Appian and try to evaluate the tool I would like to import some data from excel/ CSV to test drive a couple of ideas. I have found a plug-in that should be helpful in importing data: https://community.appian.com/b/appmarket/posts/excel-tools#. Though when clicking on download it says "This app is available to download for Appian Customers, Partners, and Employees. Please make sure to self-associate from your profile" I assume the free account doesn't make you a customer, though how can I get a sample data set in the platform to test drive. Regards, Wolter

hii all, we have a requirement of  uploading a excel file and once user click preview the entire data in the excel should visible in grid for user , and once clicked on submit then the data should store in database  for achieve this we are plane to use a staging table(dummy db) for storing uploaded excel data and showing in grid , once user click submit the data in staging table should move to main database table and need to delete the staging table data , why because if the staging table not cleared the next user data also store and entire data in the staging table will appear in grid  please help with this , guide me  to achieve this. thankyou, Ramesh
