Hi Community, So I am creating a new CDT from scratch, I have 5 fields in it .No database table is created . Primary key is defined in CDT. One of the fields c_address I have defined as text type and checked the array checkbox. All saved , but I am not able to publish the datastore. Getting the below error. Basically I am checking how array functionality works for a text type or any other type. Kindly share some insight. Thanks

We already  have tasks in tempo that displays the pending tasks with basic details then we have task report where we can get the list of tasks and can edit what we need to display. Then what is the concept of custom task report and when should we consider using it?

I have configured a record type which displays me something like the following on the records tab in Tempo I now would like have links in the 3rd column to corresponding records. Here, the "apas_step_config_..." are actually DB table names. I already created constants pointing to the corresponding entities in my data store objects of that specific DB. Also, I created record types for all possible appearing config table names. But how do I configure my display value here? What I can think of is that I introduce another column in the database which contains the URL of the corresponding record page on tempo, but that seems to hard-coded? I would appreciate any guidance.

So I have an interface where in a read-only grid the user can select a specific "event" which then shows another read only grid with that particular events information.  I would like a way to hid a column in the break down when the value is null but show when there is a number in the value. For example, in the picture, hide "Energy", "Air Gas", etc Thank you

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to query some data with an ER applying function on a specific field ? I would like to do something like this (of course, "function" attribute does not exist) : a!queryFilter(  field: "end_date",  function: "month",  /* month(end_date) */  operator: "<=",  value: 10 ), Of course, I would like to avoid to have to create an intermediate view or stored procedure... and avoid to loop over each line of my data to make the comparison. Is there a simple solution ? Regards 

My database has a primary key and it is unique. CDT has been created from the database, and with same primary key as database. But when I create a record type from this entity, I get UI error when saving the record type. What can cause this? Hello everyone, I'll preface this by saying I'm new to Appian, so don't assume I've tried the obvious... I am picking up the administration of another person's app and using a text field to pull back information for a read-only grid. The expression is set to look at three different search fields in the interface and retrieve information based on one or more of these fields (three AND query filters), ignoring empty filters. The text queries are fine, but the numeric one is not and is configured as follows: a!queryFilter( field: "number", operator: "=", value: ri!rinumber ) This filter either matches exactly and returns just one record, or returns ALL records as though no filter were applied. I've removed my other filters from the query just in case and got the same result. Any ideas what might be causing this? Is it possible (or even logical) to wrap just this one filter in an if() to return a distinct value

Hello, I am trying to get the details from the task report. My task report is by Process model and i'm trying to get the assignee of each task. I am facing the issues as below: 1. With filter:  filters:{ a!queryFilter( /*c4 is the owner*/ field: "c4", operator: "in", value: loggedInUser() ), a!queryFilter( /*c6 is the task assignee*/ field: "c6", operator: "in", value: loggedInUser() ) } When my task is assigned to individual user, the assigned task filter above works and shows me all the tasks assigned to the user. But when the task is assigned to a group and the loggedin user is a member of the group, the task is not shown to the user. I have tried the operator "includes" instead of "in". I am using Appian 20.4 and following the guide (https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/20.4/Records_Tutorial.html#add-summary-view-to-record-type) to create a summary view. The record list is working fine so far for the entity back data. The summary view interface has a rule input, "entry", which is of type recordtype as instructed by the guide. The fields are text fields and the display values are selected from the record field dropdown. The summary view interface expression config is: rule!MyTrackerEntrySummaryView(entry: rv!record). This is based on the instructions provided by the guide. I feel this is a really easy one, but Ive been struggling for hours now.  I want a drop down list to filter on the company, and another for the department etc.  I know there is a free text search field but they want three different searches. I have tried two different expression based queries. HI All, Seeing below error when i try to export DSE to Excel.   Background: We have a UI and we use a CDT to pass the filters into PM to call the DSE to Excel Smart Service. When we try to export without any filters I was able to export the date(16000 Rows), but when I use a created by filter which which returns (8000 Rows), I'm seeing the above error in PM. Hi, I'm trying to save into a local variable some data retrieved from an ER. But I would need to update some fields before to store it into my new local var. Is there any way to do it ? I am looking for a way to create a range in a record filter. I want to be able to enter in a minimum and maximum value to query by, but that does not seem to be allowed as the options for a filter are only =, <>, or between. Is this a possibility, and if not, do you have any intention to update this in a later release?
