I have a document generated by plugin called DOCX From Dynamic Template that I used a list of images in it, it works very good but when I try to convert it to PDF using pdf from docx it works only if there's only 2  images, when there's 3 images the document generates 2 pages instead of 1 page, the plugin won't convert it to pdf. Hi Expert, Could you please describe about the "Process Backed Record".What is the role of Process Backed Record? Is Process submission is enough to define it's defination? Or Do we need to wait the completion of  the process to define its definition? Thanks

what permission is required to generate documentation  for process model? is it viewer, editor or administrator?

Hi Appian Devs, I am facing an issue while converting a merged ".docx" file in my process model.If you see the .docx file, it is merging the document as per my requirements, but when i am taking that merged document output variable to convert that document into pdf, I am getting only 2 pages of the entire docx file converted whereas the actual merged docx file is of 20 pages. I tried multiple approaches, the approach of sub-process and many other methods, but not able to get the complete merged document but failed.Can you please give me the right direction?

Hi Team, When i open my application Record Type "AX Vehicle", clicking on View record list. Till here everything is going fine. But in View record list when i am clicking on any Vehcile Vin to view vehcile details like Summary getting below error. Error Evaluating UI ExpressionExpression evaluation error [evaluation ID = UKXX9] at function rule!AX_VehicleSummary [line 7]: Could not cast from RecordType to AX Vehicle. Details: CastInvalid (APNX-1-4198-000) Note: News and Related action is fine, only In Summery error is coming. Could anyone please help.I am just beginner here.

I have a requirement where I have to process, filter and Validate 35-40 MB  data in excel with 100+ columns and if validation is successful then Import the data into Landing table. What could be the best way to design this. We don't have any control on excel to create multiple excel files and upload. It has to be done with all. We are already managing 2K rows with process & validate but Customer wants Appian to do filtering and then process. But After filtering we need to do validation on resultant data after filter and inform user via popup or message in UI.

Hi, Is there a way to show the "user login history" on the interface screen  used by end-users?  I do know that system admin can monitor the "Current User Activity" from [Appian Administration Console > MONITORING > Current User Activity]. But, the needed function is to show the "history of user login". Thank you

Hello Team, Please, can you confirm if the service_manager.conf file generated in one server will be copied across other server nodes in a load balance setup as highlighted here --> https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/22.3/High_Availability_and_Distributed_Installations.html. The documentation states : As part of a distributed installation, it is a requirement to copy the service_manager.conf file located in /services/conf/ across all machines in the distributed environment, for it is necessary to enable authorized connections to the service manager and the engines across machines. Since running the password script will generate unique password for each server; will a service_manager.conf file generated on one server work for other servers in the load balance setup? Also, will I run the password script on all servers in the load balance setup? Your prompt response will be highly appreciated. Thanks

I am creating a bar chart with two measures: GST and TotalBill. If I use normal stacking both the values get on top of each other. like if GST = 20 and TotalBill = 100  then the bar length will be 120 as shown in the attached image. But I want the bar length to be 100 and GST measure inside that.

I have 2 users . For showing a demo , i want to login  2 different users in 2 different tabs in chrome browser. These users have  different roles /Gorups But when i login another person in another tab , the other tab also changed to it? How shall i show a demo with 2 different persons logged in ?

Hi All, I have an interface A and inside this interface i have provided a dynamic link so that when user click on the link interface A will be hidden and Interface B will be showing up. Is there any way to display the interface B in new tab rather than flipping the interface? Thanks in advance

Hi,  I have some questions regarding the creation of new Knowledge Center to replace the existing one for data storage optimisation.  1. What are the differences between Create Knowledge Center smart service and create it manually (New => Folder => Knowledge Center) aside from the security config? And when should user use each method? 2. My application already have a Knowledge Center containing child folders within it, and each folder contains different types of document.  Now I want to amend this Knowledge Center by creating 3 new KC, and reallocate my child folders into these 3 new KCs.  Those child folders are already being used in lots of process models, so I need to be aware about whether the above changes will affect the process models, and what can I do to avoid it?  And how can I move the child folders and documents within them to the new Knowledge Centers?

Hello All, We are using a!safelink to navigate the user to other system. The requirement is we want to store that which user clicked on the link and when in audit table, but as in the safelink there are no saveinto parameter so not able to do that. Can you please advise what to do that in this case and any work around we can do to achieve the requirement. Thank you in advance

Hi, I'm a newbie going thru the Acme Exercise tutorial. I'm building the AX New Vehicle process model following the directions.  When I try to Save the process model I get the following error: There was an error in an expression in Process Model Properties at processName: Variable(s) not found: ri!vehicle.  But everything appears to be in place.  I even deleted the input and re-created it.  What am I missing?
