Hi Everyone, I have a requirement where i need to disable the button for particular user.

Do we need verify each Data Store every time when we change Data Source in Appian?

There a CDT with number of fields, I'm trying to update one field X as Array. In this case when I try to publish my Datastore it creates a separate table with random table naming and fields to store multiple values of field X. Is there a way we can give our own naming for that table being created in the above case. I have tried downloading the DDL script and try editing table name and field, But that doesn't seems working. Can anyone give me an insight why it's taking the random table name or is there any workaround in the above case ? Thanks in Advance

While creating a drillable chart I have the month value stored as an integer. Like :  Jan =1, Feb =2, How do I create a record filer to display records that are from that month only? Here is chart for reference :

Hello, I've noticed in couple process that I'm not able to open a process instance and somehow the process instance gets bugged and jumps nodes (Doesn't happen on every instance). Hi everyone, I am creating a process model which starts and receives some data from email due to a Receive Message Event, then processes this data with some logic and finally sends summary email in response using Send E-Mail Smart Service. I want that the summary email that my process sends to be displayed in outlook (or any other email program) as a conversation, that means to be grouped and displayed in one thread. Case: - Person X sends email A to Person Y that triggers my process model,- Person Y receives email A,- Process model executes and sends to person Y summary email B as a response to email A,- Person Y receives email B and both emails A and B are displayed in one thread in person's Y outlook Usually in high code to do this, I need firstly set headers parameters as References, In-Reply-To for my summary email B before sending. I get this headers values of email A with Receive Message Event but I do not know how

If isReachable throws an IOException in Java, what is the right step to do and why? The application, I believe, should halt the process and output the system message: the host is not accessible. Because isReachable throws an IOException, the host cannot be reached. But I'm not sure what the solution is. I would be grateful if you could assist me. Thank you very much

hii all, i have a requriment of placing a NOTIFY button  in interface , once a new request is entered into a approval interface he has to take an action , once he took an action he needs to notify the remaining users by sending a mail by clicking a NOTIFY BUTTON , based on the request status we should sent an email by clicking NOTIFY USER BUTTON with request id , its like a push notification by sending a mail, based on request status we will sent different mails. thanks in advance

My interface is now using a record type (data source is a process report) to show a list of cases info, now I want to add into this interface 2 additional columns, but the data for these 2 columns is in another record type, and the common field to get the right data is "caseID".   Is there any possible way to query the data from the other record type back to this interface? Hi all.. New to Appian here. I've got a general question regarding applications in Appian. What is the use of an application apart from its ability to group related design objects? Also I'm able to refer rules from a different application in current application. What are the boundaries and best practices of an application? Can there be circular references between applications and What are it's impacts?

I am having some trouble with sending an email through the process model. There's html tags being sent as part of the body of the email. I even tried using the fn!stripHtml to send just text instead of HTML. Is there a way to send an email with just text in its body. Do note that I have a process variable being called inside the email body.  Any feedback/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I have a document generated by plugin called DOCX From Dynamic Template that I used a list of images in it, it works very good but when I try to convert it to PDF using pdf from docx it works only if there's only 2  images, when there's 3 images the document generates 2 pages instead of 1 page, the plugin won't convert it to pdf. Hi Expert, Could you please describe about the "Process Backed Record".What is the role of Process Backed Record? Is Process submission is enough to define it's defination? Or Do we need to wait the completion of  the process to define its definition? Thanks
