Collaborating on a project

Hi, me and my friend have an Appian Community Edition site where we both can access the Administration console, Appian Designer, etc. 

I wanted to work with my friend on the application that is being built in his Appian Site currently. How do we both get access to the application and collaborate on it together? The goal is for both to work on the same application so as to make changes to it simultaneously from two different devices (Two different Appian accounts in this instance).

Any help is appreciated

      Do I add my friend in the security groups? He is unable to see my project. Does the application need to be deployed in order for it to be visible to him?

      You have to add him to a group that has the required permissions on objects in your application.

      In the Admin Console, on the Left under Authentication, you will see "Users".

      On the Users page, click the Create button, and you should be able to give him an account.  Be sure to make him a System Administrator.

      If his account already exists, click on his Username, and under Security set him as a System Administrator, not Basic User.

      There is no need to make this user a sys admin.

      So he can contribute to the application being a basic user too I'm guessing. If I make him a System Administrator, that must be giving access to the admin console and should be given with absolute trust.

      Thanks a lot for the help!! Successfully added. Before wrapping up, is there a limit to how many users that can be added through the admin console?

      I did not see a limit on the number of user accounts.
