Site tab Visibility rule does not apply

Hi Appian community,

I know there were similar threads opened 3–4 years ago, and that Appian released a hotfix to address this issue. However, I’m still encountering the same problem in 25.2 with site page visibility. Even when I set the visibility rule to “Only show when” = false(), the page is still visible to System Administrator users.

Does this rule always get overridden for System Administrators or other groups?

No, visibility rules like Only show when = false() are not overridden for System Administrators in 25.2; the issue was fixed via hotfix AN-128790 in 20.4+ with latest hotfixes.

Thanks, I set the rule like that and I was still able to see the site tab using system administrators account. Is there any possible reason ?

Hotfix AN-128790 may not be applied - Verify your 25.2 environment has the latest hotfixes installed.
Or
Cache issue - Clear browser cache and log out/in, or check if you're in Designer mode instead of end-user view.
