Associating e-mail with records

Hi Appian architect team, do you have suggestions for a method to auto-associate e-mails to an Appian record without CCing an Appian process email? A client is looking for CRM-style functionality which will pull in e-mails and associated replies in the continuing thread and associate them with a customer record in Appian. Pre-sales recommended custom development using MS Graph API but is seen as potentially too complex and/or risky. Welcome any alternative suggestions, third party tools or plugins for a workaround, etc.

    Keep in mind that Appian is first and foremost an business process automation and case management platform. Nevertheless, there is a CRM solution available in the Appmarket that might resolve most of your challenges already. community.appian.com/.../appcino-crm-sales

    I wouldn't call MS Graph too risky or complex what another way is to have all incoming mail automatically forwarded to an Appian process email.
