No Option to Create CDT and DSE in Appian

Hello,
I’m trying to create a Custom Data Type (CDT) and a Data Store Entity (DSE) in Appian, but I don’t see any option to create them.

I have checked the Data Types and Data Stores sections.

The buttons or menu options for creating a new CDT or DSE are not visible.

Is there a setting, permission, or prerequisite I might be missing?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think you might be using Community Edition Instance. NO feasibility to create CDT or DS in Community Edition. Record Types are recommended approach even in paid versions now, so you’re actually learning the better method! CDTs/DSEs are considered legacy.
The Community Edition limitation is actually pushing you toward best practices. Everything you need for database operations can be done with Record Types.

Mentioned Restriction Here: Refer Appian Community Edition Product Restrictions to know all restrictions.
