Hi,

Have a requirement to see if there is a way to dynamically add a signature field anywhere on an existing PDF form.   I ran across this bulleted feature related to sign pdf plugin and was wondering if anyone would chime in on experience using this feature.   There doesn't seem to be any documentation for the plug-in so wanted to get input from the community before seeing if it works.

If anyone has any success stories/experiences to share  using this plug-ins feature would enjoy hearing about them before investigating deeper (e.g. does the feature work?   Any requirements on type of PDF document required, fillable or non-fillable PDF?

Thanks,

Bob

We use this plug-in regularly to have end users sign pre-configured PDFs.  The only way I know of for it to work is for the entire template to be defined in advance, including signature fields.  I'm not saying it's not possible to add dynamic signature fields, but if it is, it uses a feature set of the plug-in that I haven't seen in use at least.

Hi Mike,   we are in an Appian cloud environment and this plug-in does not show up as selectable in the Appian admin console?  Are you aware of any issues deploying in cloud environments?

forgive me, sorry - i misspoke slightly now that I think about it - we use Adobe Sign via integration (API call to adobe sign to get agreement info, then it returns us a Signing URL that we show in a Web Content field on the Appian form, allowing filling / signing to happen.  Not a plug-in at all.
