Hi I have data type which have data with site id, site name, workingstartDate, workingendDate.  I want to create line chart which is for each day of month, nu of sites worked? how can i do that?

Hello everyone,  I have a table with several fields 'year_field' and 'month_field' forming the table's primmary key. It's mandatory that the fields remain as primary key. When I do that, Appian doesn't allow you create record or cdt associated with the data store. I have come up with a solution, but it might not be the optimal one. I will show it to you just in case either you have something to add or different way to make it better. The idea is to create a procedure to write, update and delete data in the table. Instead of using 'Write Record' node, the procedure would be triggered based on the operation you want to perform. For reading purposes, I have thought to create a 'Materialize View' where the view includes the primary key. That is my solution. If you have a smarter way to do this, please let me know. How can I show warning message in the top of the form I have two field one is region that is multiselected and another is geography that is single selection if I selected region like 3 value APAC,EMEA,NAM and after that I selected from geography NAM if both value are matched then warning message will be not shown if value are not match in both field then warning msg will be shown on the top of form

Hi All, I have a query that returns documents with a specific name, sometimes by mistake we will have 2 or 3 files/documents with the same name, I want to make sure that my query selects the latest one added instead of the first one that it finds, how can I accomplish this? Right now if I have 3 files with the same name it picks the first one added since its the first one the query finds. thanks in advance

We're developing an app that will be used on both Android and iOS via the browser. We have everything working for both mobile OS, but the Video Content Field is giving us some problems on iOS. We store some videos on Sharepoint and then play them on the app using the link of the Sharepoint file. This works on both PC and Android. But on iOS, no matter the video format (MP4 or MOV), it just gives us the video player in black with no option to play the video. The same video, on PC and Android, works fine. Be it an MP4 or MOV video Has anyone encountered this issue on iOS and has a way to fix it? PS. Tried using the Advanced Video Player plugin, and it gives us the same results. Also on Safari, Chrome and Firefox

Hi All How can we see user last login details? Right now I am using this function getlastlogindatetime  but it onlys shows only for those users who logged in with in 30 days. Can anyone tell me how can we see those users login in date and time which are logged in with in 90-120 days? Many thanks in advance

I have a multiple series bar chart with stacking and I needed to show in data labels both the percentage and the number of cases (absolute value).  In the image I'm showing only %, but I also need the number of cases: I can show one or the other managing the stacking configuration field, but not both. I establish a One-to-One parent-child relationship in Appian by including a reference field for the child Custom Data Type (CDT) within the parent CDT during creation. Although the parent CDT is successfully published in the database, initially, the child lacks a primary key. Appian generates the primary key in the child after publication, associating it as a foreign key in the parent table. However, an issue arises during parent  table updates; instead of updating the child table, it consistently creates new records. Recognizing this is likely due to the absence of a primary key in the child CDT, I added the necessary primary key during the update of child table  and the child table continues to create new records rather than updating existing ones. Seeking a solution for this behavior.

I have an interface where there is a grid to display tasks, one of the columns is based on status (complete in progress and new) and I want to be able to filter the grid by having only In Progress and New being shown. So in other words, if the status is Completed, I would like the entire row to be removed from the grid. I thought I would have to add a new a!queryfilter but I'm not sure if that is correct or if I'm structuring it wrong. Here is the basics of what I wanted to do. Is this the correct method? Or how should I change it so it can actually accomplish what I want

Hi!, We have a web service based record type that needs to be synced overnight in batches as we need to sync more than a thousand records. Batch 1 returns information that needs to be used while calling subsequent batches. We have not been able to find a way to store this information as the record data source expression rule is not allowing to call write record smart service or do a post call to a web API. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello All, I am passing data to gridField using local variable local!taskData. This local variable local!taskData is updating from the startProcess which is configured on button.Now first time I select the few records and reassign button then the data is updating into local!taskData and able to see the updated data on grid now immediately selecting another records and clicking on reassign then the values where not updating untill unless I refresh the data manually. Is the onsuccess is considering only once ?
