I have an interface created, It is an employee onboarding form, it is there on the website , so once an employee fills the form, the details gets stored to database table, now my database table is populated with the new employee detail. I have another tab, Update information if an employee needs to update information , so when an employee clicks on Update information it should automatically fetch my older details but is now, how can I make it hapen?

I've run into another problem I can't figure out during the Acceptance Testing portion of the Developer course. I've completed the "Configure Users" part and now I'm trying to load up the main site when logged in as Jodi Yeates. When I do, I get the following error: When I use this account to run the AIS (Appian Solution), everything runs properly. I've narrowed it down to something to do with the Assets record, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what is wrong. I've compared my Asset and Asset Type records, the Site file and the ITCentral interface with the solution and can't see any real differences. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm sure there's something I've missed or configured incorrectly, but I'm at a loss. Thank you, Carlo.

Hi, I have a rule in which I call an SP.I made changes to a field so that it accepts an array and now my Rule is not working.  I'm not getting an error, just nulls. What's the best way to have a process report that filters for all processes that have hit the end node and its blue. Basically, this sub process was kicked off by a parent wrapper process. The parent would kick off this sub process, the user would go to the first interface, we had a timeout mechanic where if the user didnt take action within a set time, it expired and hit the end node. However, going to this end event did not end the parent process and now the process is staying open. We have since fixed this and made this End Event node a terminate node, but in our process dashboard now, theres 10,000+ processes that are stuck in active status because the node was not properly terminated and the parent process is keeping it alive. This is taking up memory in the system, and I want to try to identify all the processes where this happened so I can delete them. Is there also an easy to way mass delete these process models once I have a good report that only includes them? Our

I have created a Document Name filter for documents uploaded to the current application I'm working on. However, based on how documents are set up in Appian, I am only able to retrieve the document name through Appian's Document ID. I am using a!pickerFieldDocuments() to filter by documents, but the issue is that when I type in the document name it only pulls up results based on what the document name starts with. I would like the document name filter to use partial name searching instead so that instead of having to know what the document name starts with I can just type in any text included in the name to pull up the results. But I am finding this rather difficult to do using Appian's Document ID to retrieve the document's name property. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks.

we use AQUAMAN and Peer review for our Appian packages before moving to production environment. how can we check components in package zip file for their performance related issues which are reported after they are deployed to Production? is there any way to add these rules in AQUAMAN? or any other plug in which can be used to PREVENT these issues in future releases?

Hi Community ,We have a requirement where we have to compare two lists of map , Both the Map have same values but these map are created from different query statement.I want those Keys where Values are different. For Eg : Map1 : [[id:230,no:0]; [id:223,no:1]; [id:232,no:1]; [id:264,no:1]]Map 2 :  [[id:230,no:1]; [id:223,no:2]; [id:232,no:1]; [id:264,no:1]] I need a expression rule which gives result as 230, 223 bcz Map 2 values are different in it. Hello Community Members, While using Export SQL to Excel Plugin, we are observing that it is over-riding existing file in same folder if file name is same instead of creating new file. Anyone observed this behavior before? Any workaround like changes in Parameter that may mitigate this. Keeping file name unique is alternative, but we have case where same file name can be present multiple times in same folder. So need to understand if it is the known plugin behavior and file name should always be unique if using this smart service "Export SQL to Excel"

Good day everyone,  I am new to Appian and working on a project. I have a database with the following tables: Employees (1:M) Document Status (M:1) Training Document. I am trying to make a form that allows managers to assign each employee to multiple training documents at the same time. So, I have a form like below with a checklist of all training documents (fetched through an expression rule)  When the form submits, I need the process model to write to the database multiple times to the document status CDT. For example, based on the picture above, there would need to be three entries to DB tracking status for each training document and employee. How should I set up the interface and/or process models. Hello, I am working on a team that would like to try out and potentially use the AI Skill "Email Classification" for our work, but the training of the AI skill states that it requires .eml files. Unfortunately, our company uses Outlook, which does not natively have a way to save .eml files - as far as I am aware. Is there a way for me to convert .msg into .eml, or has anyone else found a workaround? We are not allowed to use other email providers in any way, and all converters I found online would likely be blocked by my company.

Hi everyone, We had a summarized task list ( SOURCE : View ) in a grid , where we have rows coming from so many record types. We had a recordlink present for every id, once clicked it have to redirect it's concerned record type dynamically. So could you please help me retrieve the object type using its UUID.- Once provided it had to retrieve the recordtype, which i will pass dynamically to the recordtype input in a!recordlink(). If anybody worked on any type of this scenario, please help me on this. Thanks in Advance

Hi there, I'm working on the "Appian Developer Project: Build an IT Application" component at the end of the course and I've run into a problem with sending email from the Update Request process model. The send email fails with the error "No valid recipients resolved". It appears that after the Write Records, the full record isn't being transferred to the Send Email. I've verified that the record IS being updated. As far as I can tell, my code mimics the AIS solution. This is the result from my process: and this is the result from the AIS process: As you can see, in the AIS version, the record contents after the Write Records is full, whereas mine only shows "id=3". One difference I noted between the two is that mine uses a newer version of the Write Records. The "Configure Write Records" dialog has a Setup menu: I modified the AIS solution to use the new version and it worked with no issues, so that doesn't seem to

Hi Team,I have a CDT named PSC test which contains a  nested CDT called PSC test1(nested cdt column name :idf). In a process model script task I'm trying to make the PSC test1 as null and write into DSE. In a script task I'm mapping NULL to it, but while writing it getting error. I tried using cast(cdttype,null), null, emptycdttype. But no  improvement. Hi All, I am using Appian 23.2 version, using text field to validate percentage value for a float/number data type column but Appian not throwing error when I entered text value, instead, Appian automatically removing text and only defaulting numeric value if any in the entered text. Few scenarios: a1.25 - Should error message 10.s2 - Should error message  10 - Should allow to proceed 10.25 -  Should allow to proceed. I have tried with integer field also but no luck, seems I am missing something. Please help me on this validation. Hello, i have a Web Service and i save the Result.body response as in a process variable map. For auditing reasons i need to save this result as a *.json file that just needs to stay in the Knowledge Center for now. How can i achieve this? I have tried using a template but from Map to document i loose all the Json elements. Thank you
