In our Appian Site, we have a DummyHomePage interface that contains two sub-interfaces: DummyCustomFilter – used to select filter values DummyEditableGrid – displays the filtered data in a grid When a user selects filter values and clicks the action link in the grid, we navigate to the Record Summary View for the selected solutionId using a!recordLink() or urlForRecord().In the Summary View, we have a Back button that should return to the DummyHomePage while keeping the previously selected filter values.

We are trying to integrate with docusign embedded component in appian.  I used a code grant authorization with a connected system, with a single user.  When the token is not valid i go to the connected system and click on authorize. And like that i can even sign embedded in appian or with the url generated. The problem is that we have a requirements to provide signing with docusign for two distincted users, That user are not administrator or designer(like me) so cant click the authorize button everytime. And i see that in the connected system are not a user reference to pass.  So how can i authorize two different user with codegrant? I have to use two different connected system with a different secret keys? Use an a!authorizationLink?

Is there a way to find all appian objects and its dependencies in a appian application  and export into excel so I can do analysis well before starting development with a team of 10 appian developers. We are at 24.3 version.

We are using a!safelink to provide provision to download a file using presigned URL. The requirement is we need to store which user clicked on the link and when in audit table, but as in the safelink there are no saveinto parameter . I tried multiple other ways but all in vain. I am unable to find a solution, where on a single click user able to navigate using presigned url as well as in backed it writes to audit.  please advise what to do that in this case and any work around we can do to achieve the requirement. Hi Appian Community,I am using AI Document Center in Appian to Extract an Excel file. The extraction runs successfully, but the Extracted Value column is empty. Only the field labels are displayed (e.g., S.No, Name, Age, Location, Role, Salary, Time, Status), but no actual data is populated and also not able see the preview of excel  Any guidance or best practices would be appreciated.

Hi All, I have the following question and would appreciate any suggestions: I am trying to start an RPA task using a test user who has Basic User access in the environment. However, the robotic task does not start. If I use a user with System Administrator access and who is also part of the RPA Operation Console group, the task starts successfully. As developers, we need System Administrator access for development purposes, but real-time users should only have Basic User access. I have also added the test user to the RPA task’s permission tag and included the permission tag of what the RPA task has for the respective user in the Appian RPA group. Despite this, the RPA instance is still not triggered. So, my question is: Is it possible for a user with Basic User access in the environment to start/trigger an RPA task? Hi All, We are facing an issue while Deploying an RPA task to UAT Environment(Attaching screenshot). And also in the UAT environment on open of an Operation Console we retrieved  java.lang.RuntimeException: Retrieving resource failed, status code: 500. Because of this the deployment errors out? Please let me know if any one knows the reason.

I am attempting to develop a feature for my application where a user can add a pin on a map using the esriMapMarkerField component. I've used it before with readOnly enabled, but not to gather user input. It seems like I'm supposed to add the relevant saves in the "onNewPointAdded" parameter, but the documentation is sparse on specific guidance with it. I would have assumed there would be some function variable to pass into the save, but I've come up with nothing. I am getting some error while trying to save a process model, but I am not able to identify what I am doing wrong. Hello All, We have a requirement to run the multiple process models as per schedule. The Scheduler will be responsible to identify which process to be triggered and when. For example we are maintaining below data in records-Processname - time - UUID Process Name Time UUID process 1 2:30:00PM, 5:30:00 PM uuid1 process 2 2:30:00PM, 5:35:00 PM uuid2 process 3 8:05:00 AM,2:30:00PM, 5:35:00 PM uuid3 process 4 10:05:00 AM,2:30:00PM uuid4 process 5 10:05:00 AM,2:35:00PM uuid5 process 6 12:05:00 PM,2:45:00PM uuid6 Now parent process is running and checking in each 5 mins and checking which process to be executed. Then it fetch the UUID of those processes and get the Process Model ID. This process model id will be used to call "Start Process" smart service with (MNI), each for identified process. I am using Start Process smart service because I am maintaining UUID in DB and need to get the processes dynamically. So here as per above example, at 2:30:PM I have 4 proc

Process model is newly added with Write Records of a new record type recently created and when comparing with previous version which doesnt have this record type in dev it is throwing attached error. Anyone faced this issue?

For Appian version 24.2.1295.0 and Excel Tools version 2.6.3, I am getting following error.  ERROR ImportExcelFileToDatabase ORA-17041: Missing IN or OUT parameter at index: 2 Is this due to a version miss match ? Which version will be suitable with my current version of Appian and will upgrading the plugin cause any issues with the older code?

Hi everyone. I have added fields to an SQL Server table. I have refreshed the associated RecordType to add these new fields. Now when I create a new record I face this error (in the "Nombre" field for example): I suposse the recordType have not been refreshed properly but I don't know how to do it because I have sincronized many times. When I experience this problem I usually remove the recordtype and create it again but this workaround is not nice. Do you know how to do it properly without rermove it? Thanks in advance.

Hey!I'm going through the Appian docs for activity chaining https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/25.3/Sub-Process_Activity.html#activity-chaining-into-a-subprocess-activityI see that there is a checkbox to Enable activity-chaining into all initial nodes in the subprocess and Appian recommends(for the sake of design consistency) enabling activity chaining in the subprocess despite selecting this checkbox.  My question is with respect to the following statements as highlighted in image below1. I agree with the first statement and I have tried it out myself 2. The second statement says keep Enable activity-chaining into all initial nodes in the subprocess checkbox cleared if I have a start form in subprocess. Now, my question is - does it matter if I have checked/unchecked this checkbox as I already know the start form will be skipped. Like what am I achieving by clearing the checkbox if I know it's going to skip the start

I am getting some strange values from todate(). { todate("02/28/2025"), todate("02/29/2025"), todate("02/30/2025"), todate("02/31/2025"), todate("02/32/2025"), todate("06/31/2025"), todate("RR/28/B025") } It seems to try to auto-correct an invalid date to a valid date.  But it also seems to allow characters in the date which it evaluates somehow and comes up with wild dates as a result. First Question:  What's going on with todate() that it results in off-the-wall values? My scenarion is this.... Hi Team, we have notice below observations, please check and let me know if I missed anything, When we used  Sub-Process as asynchronous and running more than 1000 instances but those instances are not deleting even though  we have selected Allow more than 1000 instance check box....is there any limitations ?  when we used start process smart service  as asynchronous / synchronous way using MNI with 1000 instances then we have notice that even though we have selected Delete previously completed/cancelled instances. check BOX but those completed instances are not deleted in the monitoring dashboard....is there any limitations  ?. and in start process smart service we are unable to run the MNI more than 1000  instances ..if have run more than 1000 instance same like sub process asynchronously. How to achieve this scenario with using batch job ? thanks!

As we approach the production phase of the system, I am attempting to deploy from the development environment to the testing environment, but I am encountering an import error with the aforementioned logging output application. It indicates that there is a problem with the baseURL in the connected system, but I do not see anything particularly wrong. Is there anything specific I should check? What I'm concerned about is that this application connects to a Web API within my server, and it's authenticated with a security account. I have 3 doubts in Appian environment. Can you help me, please? 1. In Appian, can you work with branches associated with process versions, similar to GitHub? 2. Is it possible to have two versions of the same process running in production and choose at any time which one the application should use? 3. Which function do we use to remove a particular field from a record before persisting it? For example: recordType!sampleRecord1( id: null, column1: A, column2: B, column3: C, column4: D, column5: E, column6: F, column7: G, column8: H, relationA: recordType!relationA( id: null, column1: A1, column2: B2, column3: C3 )) I want to remove the id field from both sampleRecord1 and relationA before persisting them. Reason: The downstream database does not handle id: null well, but if the field is missing or field have a value, it works fine. hi , I have requirement, like after downloading the excel sheet though the smart service , is there any possibility to set automatically  label as K3 Confidential, so that user don't want to set manually after downloading the excel.

Requirement: User wants to search across the PDF documents. Currently we store PDF documents generated via HTML in Appian. User wants to have a search box and search through all these PDF documents and return all the documents having matching text. Just wanted to know if there are any OOB features that supports this requirement.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
