HI All, I have a requirement to process a CSV file to my database. i have used a smart service(Export CSV to Database) from Excel Tools plugin. But some of the special characters are not read properly.For example:  The data i have received in CSV has : ~@ö<é;ó¿üäÖÇ*àÄ=É!"ѧæñ á½èçòíê° after consuming the file i have got this in my database : ~@�<�;�����*��=�!"ѧ�������� Can anyone suggest if we have any alternative options for this please. Hello, We are connecting both appian and AWS. will upload documents from appian side and in aws will extract and store the data. Now to populate data in  Appian to establish a connection found a "AWS Opensearch".plugin. When trying to download getting an error stating "This app is available to download for Appian Customers, Partners, and Employees. Please make sure to self-associate from your profile". Can someone guide me what needs to be done from my end to use this plugin. Hi, we have a functionality to upload a file and save it in a folder in SharePoint. The connected system we are using is through the HTTP integrated Microsoft Graph Connected System. It works fine for a file size up to 100MB but post that we are facing Integration Error as [title=There was a problem with the request, message=Failed to connect to https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/drives/b!m6Ln0pXy60eQAb14pUvBiE4NVb13D6JDnJVPxlNZJEQw55MIsIdnQa8ktIM9MLWk/items/01HO3UJFSOHDXPAJQEDRA2S5JCHFKWTKGT:/MS_dummy_file_250MB20242245_024518.bin:/content, detail=HTTP/1.1 499 ]. Please can one suggest how to resolve this issue so that files with larger size can be uploaded using same connected system.

Hi team, Is there a way to access real-time information in SAP database like data link? I know there are BAPI smart service and SAP GUI libraries, and cofiguring record type with BAPI can have a bunch of records.But I also know the record type can have data as of the timing of full sync, which takes place once a day not every 10 mins. If we can configure the record type with jdbc instead of the smart service, I hope we can refer the latest data.But the problem is that SAP does not allow users to connect directly to its database with jdbc. Is there a good way to fulfill our requirement?What I wonder is if we can connect to SAP BTP with jdbc, we might be able to see the real-time data via BTP.And the idea I came up with is if the record type can be refreshed every 10 mins, this also helps us. Hello Appian expert, We want to send emails from Appian using Outlook 365 account. For that, we tried using MS Outlook 365 connected system and followed all the account set-up steps. but the connected system is not able to validate credentials and returns 'Invalid Access' Steps:  Login to Azure AD, go to ‘App Registration’ and create a new app. Use the generated Client ID and Tenant ID from that app into the connected system Generate client secret from ‘Certificates and Secrets’ and pass it as input In the ‘API permissions’ option, click on ‘Add permission’ > select the Microsoft Graph API > Add (Application) Mail.Send permission Use emailaddress@domain.onmicrosoft.com email id To confirm, we are able to use the same account using MS Graph Explorer and successfully send emails. Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with Read MSG plug-in that the generated output .html document is coming out blank. The .msg file itself does have content in it though. I config the Read MSG node as guided in the plug-in documentation. The generated document (output html file) was stored in a process variable. When I download that html file from Appian folder and open it, it is a blank file.  This is the original msg file:  And below is the generated html: I'm looking for a solution to solve this issue or a workaround way for me to convert .msg to html. Hello! My team and I are attempting to create a demo of a project for potential customers. The intended application would be able to take images from a mobile device, save these photos as documents in Appian, and have workflows in which those photos would be viewed/displayed in high enough resolution for end users to make determinations based on said photos. In your experience, what are the best plugins to achieve this functionality? I have found an image capture plug-in component from Vuram on the appmarket, but from the comments it seems that the photos are binned down to a very low resolution, which may disrupt our workflow tasks.  What is the gold standard for image capture and viewing in Appian? I am using AWS Cognito to onboard Pool users with Appian via OIDC. I would like to know if I can use the Appian Login page instead of the one provided by Cognito. Cognito only supports English, so I wouldn't want to use the screen provided by Cognito.

Hi,  our client requires plugins to be installed on Appian to pass a SAST static code scan before they can be used. Does anyone know if Appian scans plugins during deployment and in that case how is this done? Is there a way to perform a SAST scan on the plugins after deployment? Thanks in advance

Good Afternoon, We are using the query DOMO Dataset API to perform a SELECT query statement to retrieve some data for our Appian interface.  Documentation: https://developer.domo.com/portal/52fd0777839f4-query-a-data-set We only intend to use SELECT statements to get data however we still have to use a POST method for this API. Because the Appian Integration is using the POST method to perform the query we are not allowed to use it in the Appian Interface's on page load. It will only work when used through a SaveInto parameters for buttons or links. I tried to make a middle layer Appian Web API to perform the POST Query Statement but referencing the POST integration inside of the Web API code that is using GET method was not allowed. I am going to try to use the Web API to launch a process model. It means when user click on HELP (as one of site pages) it will redirect him to a SharePoint page with useful docs. I tried it as Interface with safelink but it does not work. So here’s the thing, I fixed an issue with an Appian plugin. I downloaded its code, was able to get it running with all dependencies and build.gradle stuff, found the faulty code and upgraded it, I also upgraded and cleaned the code since lots of functions and/or variables were either deprecated or not used (seems like nobody tried to edit this plugin for ages now and is considered a black box) Uploaded it to our demos environment for a spin and it works like butter now. The thing is, this is a vital plugin for a certain demographic, I believe an update such as what I was able to accomplish in days should’ve been done by Appian a long time ago (this shouldn’t have passed testing stage let alone be published for thousands of developers and millions of users and be dismissed for a few years now) So my question is has anyone ever faced a similar situation ? I can upload the documents from external application to the Appian. When try to open the received documents with file extensions .docx,.pdf,.pptx, the files are throwing error and after I select "Repair" option, then the files are opened. But the files with extension .xlsx,.zip,.png,.bmp are not opening and its throwing "file format or file extension is not valid" error and unable to open the files. Hi All, I have setup the integration object using https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/21.2/sharepoint-connected-system.html All the methods I can use and its all working fine but I have a requirement that I must be able to move a document from one folder to another or delete a specific document from one folder.  I got one method to use Execute Write Request but can someone help in what data we need to pass in that to fulfil the requirement? I am trying to call an integration that needs to pass a file from appian through its body.  However, it's not being acceptable, cause As you can see, the connection endpoint is expecting the file parameter to be of type File.  An information: with the url that I am retrieving in appian, I am being able to download the file just by clicking on the link. However apparently the File type on this connection expects another type of string: MultipartFile, Is it by any chance possible that conversion? Thanks
