Hi I am wondering if it is possible to use the readexcelsheet() function on a rule input file (ri!Submission.submissionfile) which is uploaded in the same interface. a!textField( label: "Rules", labelPosition: "ABOVE", value: readExcelSheet( excelDocument: ri!Submission.submissionfile, sheetNumber: 1, startRow: 9, numberOfColumns: 4 ).result.values[1,4], saveInto: ri!rules, refreshAfter: "UNFOCUS", readOnly: true, validations: {} ) Should this be possible or does the function only work within a process model? In the interface I am getting the following error: 'Interface Definition: Expression evaluation error at function 'readExcelSheet'' while in the process model it works (with process variables) Thanks in advance! Chris

I have two requirements that I am not sure how to tackle:1. I need to to export a datasubset, dictionary, cdt, or map to excel (basically data that is in appian, not in the db) in an interface. 2. I need to upload an excel spreadsheet, and extract the data to display in a grid in the UI.  So I need to extract it to a datasubset, dictionary, cdt, or map. Is there any OTB functionality or plugin that could achieve one or more of these requirements?

We are in need to use mobile push notifications to generate mobile notifications on certain events, but the issue is that we are on on-premise environment and Mobile push notifications are only available on Appian Cloud. Is there any suggestions or other ways to achieve the mobile push notifications service in self-hosted or on-premise ?

hello all, We have multiple documents sending to user via DocuSign and once it is approved we get back the document via WEB-API .... which is working fine  but when one of the document is signed the web api is called and the process moves ahead...which shouldn't happen  now we need something that keeps the web api on hold until all the documents are signed

Hi all, This scenario has few relevant details. Will try to make all them visible... I need to send an XML SOAP message to a third party, and the message has embedded a document, which has to be codified (uuencode) in base64. Reading the documentation, the approach has to be the creation of a full set of data types with the same structure than the XSD to be sent. So far, so good. I'm able to send a full data type with the file using an Integration call, setting the content type as XML (application/xml), in the content I have the data structure and I ticked the Automatically convert CDT to XML. This is a post message with an specific header and basic authentication. Now, that third party says is unable to consume the message if there is no a proper SOAP header in the XML... Simple, right? I need to add this: <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="">schemas.xmlsoap.org/.../" > <soapenv:Header/> <soapenv:Body> --> here goes my message </s
