 Hi, hope you're all doing well! I would like to have shortcuts specially for the mouse "select" and the "connect" tool in Appian Process Modeler. As they get so much usage, it should be extremely useful to instead of be always clicking the same tools, we could simply type "S"  to switch between"connect/select" cursors. To be honest I am fascinated by shortcuts, but those two would be of crucial value in my opinion, as the reasons are already explicated above. By the way I would like to know what are the possibilities for this suggestion to get implemented? Thanks in advance

Hi, I want to display the difference between today's date and created date in record type as an integer value. Further, I want to show the value in certain colors based on condition (like if the values is less than 3 then green color; if the values are in between 3 and 5 then yellow; and if the values are greater than 5 then red). Hello everyone, Got an new error in an interface that existed for a while. It is a simple interface that takes several CDTs of data and displays it as well as taking some text input from users and passig it to a process, it does not have record headers or actions in it. This error refers to 'Headers' and 'body' that aren't used anywhere in code for that interface, so could anyone please help me make sense of it? Also, strangely enough it pops up only ocassionally and/or for different users, with same data.

Hi community members, Because of a new feature, I added a xor gate and a new path in a process model. The form is some where after the XOR gate and new path. The issue is now when I clicking the save button, the form unexpected closed (no error message). The previous correct behavior is clicking save button and then clicking submit button, which means the form is stay open after clicking save and before clicking submit. Now I have to go to the process model and click the form node to view the form again then click submit. I didn't change anything in interface/UI. What the possible cause for this issue and any suggestions? Thanks!

It works for multiple dropdown, but why not for dropdown?

The size of  a folder is showing 69 GB, while the sum of size of all document in it is less than 20 GB. Due to this, Disk Utilization is increasing . Is there any way to correct this and decrease the disk utilization?

Hello,Is there a way to automate taking DB back up from Appian Cloud? We do take back up manually from Appian Cloud before PROD deployment every month.However, we now are looking for automating the process before every deployment.Please suggest if you know of any good way to take Appian Cloud DB backup without the intervention of Appian Support.(I know of "mysqldump" plugin but do not want to use it since it's not maintained for the latest versions of Appian - https://community.appian.com/b/appmarket/posts/mysqldump)

My requirement is as below: I have a set of Ids, and using an integration I am getting all details of the records of those Ids. After certain manipulation of the dataset, i am displaying the dataset on a grid. Now I want to download the same grid to an excel/csv document. Please note, I am not saving the data in any table so I can't use export to csv from DSE option. What I have tried is using an document WebApi where I pass my Ids and get the details and download the document.  The problem with this approach is: 1) I have to call the integration again and do those manipulations again 2) The Ids I am passing as query parameters. When there are more than 1000 ids, the url is becoming too long and the API is failing. Can anyone please suggest an alternative approach to resolve this issue TIA

Hi All, We are getting the following error in process model "This process has been inactive for a time period exceeding defined limits" . This error is occuring in a user input task. Can anyone let us know what is the reason behind getting this error? The process has been configured to run every day at 12am.

As above table having many to one relationship we can see as arrow, we are considering Mapping table as master table, All tables we have created Record type. 1. in one UI page used "Mapping table", and in that page we are selecting Country, Region and Category code. Entering textbox values of "Info table" and "Att table" and clicking "Submit" button. We are getting error. "function a!dropdownField [line 33]: An error occurred while executing a save: Expression evaluation error: Field with [identifier=9b2cef30-2e3c-4575-9e32-c9897a6dff7a] not found on the Record Type" 2. Here we need to insert same record in "Info table" and "Att table" once done then new both Ids need to insert in "Mapping table" how we can do in one go on click of submit button? Hello, I am trying to do a simple check on a paragraphField or any field(integer, text, decimal field). The validation is not working for empty or null. I tried giving a!isNullOrEmpty(ri!value), Null(ri!value), ri!value=null. The validation message is not shown.  If i give any other logic, it works.

Hi guys, Have question that we are having user login through SSO, also set-up the SAML. So when the user first time login, Appian will create this "New User" also add them to the group. So the issue is we also need update DB, just wondering is there anyway we can trigger a PM to update user DB once we have a new user or a group got update? Or it can be set-up via SAML? Any suggestions appreciated.  Thanks in Advance.

Hello, I have a problem with a form interface where users are supposed to be able to drop a file with a a!fileUploadField, but if the user tries to detach the file before submitting form or to detach it by updating the record, I have this error : Could not display interface. Please check definition and inputs.
