How to send a Text message to non-Appian users

There are two plugins/connected systems available on the App Market:

• https://community.appian.com/b/appmarket/posts/sms-and-tts-with-nexmo

There are also other services available. The plugins add a layer of convenience but you can also just use regular connected systems and integrations to connect to the services.

I would recommend you to check the two Plugins what Mathieu has mentioned and also try using APIs from service providers such as Twilio, Telesign etc. Here is a list of service providers and other information that might be helpful.

SMS APIs

The best way would be to switch to emails. That comes bundled with the platform and here you will be able to include custom text along with images or anything. 
If you want to do it via SMS only, then it can only be achieved via APIs of third-party SMS providers.
