Greetings All, I am looking for some experiences with interfacing with CRM systems.  Our team has looked at Salesforce and Microsoft for CRM, but they are asking us to dive deeper to find out what is out there that might be integrated with Appian or at least have some better off-the-shelf integrations. One that we happen to like is Creatio CRM.  It obviously has its own BPA capabilities.  But it does not have key features important to us.  So I am thinking INTEROPERABILITY with Creatio CRM via Appian workflows or possibly some other CRM? Hello All, does anybody know how can I export text from DSE and preserve the formatting defined by HTML tags? The use case is following: 1) I have a grid with fields where text can be formatted (bold, italic, underline, strikethrough text) 2) Formatted text is added thru the component richTextField from plugin created by Appian, which provides with a simple editor for rich text. 3) Formatted text is saved in DB as HTML text and it is converted to Rich Text display field only for displaying. 4) Customer is requesting the function which exports the data to Excel file and also preservers the formatting. 5) The export process works fine, but Excel does not correctly interpret HTML tags used for formatting. It is imported as a pure text. This is the process model that I use. Any advices on how to solve this case? Thank you, Michal

I've enabled SANL Authentication and changed default sign-in page as other than native "Appian Sign-in page". The problem now, my SSO sign in page not working as expected and I am unable to proceed with it. Now I want to reset back to "Appian Sign-in page" as default sign-in page, however I am unable to reset it back as its always displays SSO sign-in page and unable to navigate to "Admin Console" -> SAML Authentication settings. Hi, I'm trying to use GCP "Cloud Identity" as my IDp LDAP Server. in order to establish the trust b/w LDAP Client(Appian Application) and LDAP Server(GCP Cloud Identity), GCP instructs to upload the SSL certificate to client application. Unfortunately, I could not find the place to upload security certificate on Admin Console -> LDAP Authentication Screen.  Could someone please suggest the recommended approach here? I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'm trying to run a HTML script that creates a chart and then exports it as an image in a process model. I'd like to then use that image (and other data) to create a PDF report using the Fill PDF smart service. However, currently for the image to export the HTML file has to be downloaded and opened. Is there a way to have it run automatically in the process model? I also tried the PDF from HTML smart service but that doesn't seem to support charts. Here is the HTML code I'm using to test this process. What is the best way to take in and map AD groups to Appian groups and then add or remove Appian users from an Appian group based on if a users are in an AD group? Basically syncing AD groups to Appian groups. I was looking over the LDAP plugin for a few hours, but to me it looks like it just adds, activates and deactivates users based on ad groups. I have a process model that presents a user with a confirmation page.  This page contains three links for the user to select from.  Currently, we have a timer that will skip this link after a number of minutes.  I was wondering if there is a way that I can set it up that when as user clicks one of the links it will continue on without the use of the timer.

Hi all, I've managed to configure AWS RDS SqlServer Data source in our Appian dev env application. Current dev environment is running on vmware private cloud with Sql Server data source. Could someone please suggest the procedure/steps how to replace current data source with RDS Sql Server? Do we need to modify each DSE objects OR any recommended systematic approach to achieve this? What are the objects that we need to check other than DSE please? Can we update the application module by module basis? (i.e. Part of the application/functions will retain the current/existing data source, some of the specific modules will can use AWS RDS source? ) It would be helpful if someone can shed the light on any available whitepapers/ case studies resource and share the details of known challenges for this use case please. - Thanks.
