(I’ve already took in consideration the Online Appian help, the Appian playbook, and advanced online training subjects, and of course the practice test) Maybe do you know some other pratice tests which could i try ? some Appian performance exercises for example... Currently I am not able to do that. -also if i am on the last record lets say 1

Hello All, I'm currently creating an editable grid for school records with a field called year graduated. I want the following entries for this field to be compared with previous row to check if the year is greater than the previous row and output an error message. However, I can't seem to find a way to access the previous item. Hello,  I am new to Appian. We currently have a process model that generates a completed PDF contract based on Data Inputs mapped from an interface.  We would now like that generated PDF to automatically be read only so a user can't change values in the form after the fact. Can I please get your thoughts on how to get the PDF to be generated as a read only instead of fillable form? Thanks!

Hi all, I hope you all are doing well and safe. Today I am going to tell my experience on Appian training. As I see there are so much button clicks while completing any Appian trainings which personally I don't like and it's just annoying. It maybe the good for some folks, so I am sorry in advance if it is wrong according to your opinion. For example: 1. If I started any Appian training and completed a video, then I see a pop-up with 2 buttons as below screenshot which is completely useless. It must be closed automatically and should not ask these questions. If I am ready to start the next activity that I can do manually. 2. In every quiz it asking to proceed with message "Time to check your knowledge! ..." it's ok to warn but each time for each quiz, if a person seriously want to pass the quiz definitely he/she will read the questions carefully.   3. Reading through the Query Database Smart Service documentation, it appears that an explicit transaction wraps every execution: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/22.2/Query_Database_Smart_Service.html#:~:text=Activity%20execution,by%20the%20node Is there a way to shut this behavior off?  We have created a logging framework with all of our procedures, and can even get the error messages we're producing out of the process flows via the Outputs tab, but when all is said and done our logging messages are missing.  If I'm interpreting the above correctly, it's because the overall transaction is rolling back our logging inserts too. I'd really prefer to let errors be errors and just stop this behavior, but if that's not possible my catches will have to swallow the error and return my messaging through OUTPUT variables instead (an idea if anyone else is facing this same issue).
