Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Hi, I have a setup on a windows machine with maven 3, Java JDK and Intellij. I have a settings.xml on .m2 folder on my user profile with a maven key on <server> tag I generated from RPA Console. I have create a blank template robotic process and when I tried to open the pom.xml from the downloaded project on intellij I got an 401 error pointing to my repo URL. is there any file other than settings.xml that we have to configure the maven key? When I go to the Maven settings on intellij under repositories I see an error saying that a authorization exception happened trying to nexus-maven-repository-index.properties. Am I missing some configuration? I tried these steps docs.appian.com/.../maven-setup.html thanks, Eduardo

Hi,  I'm stumped on the attribute capture step of the Create Robotic Processes with Appian - Part 2 course. I created process variables and started the task recorder to get the status attribute as per the given instructions. I'm able to capture attribute value but save into does not list any created process variable & it's the same issue with new variable creation. The drop-down doesn't populate with value upon searching. Here are the specifics of my system environment: RPA Version -  8.1.0 Appian Version - 22.1 Chrome Version - 101.0.4951.67 ChromeDriver Version - 101.0.4951.41

Hi there,  I'm in the process of automating use case of opening an emails and read the content and take decisions accordingly. Can someone shed some light of doing it via Appian RPA? The documentation seems to be little elusive particularly in the case of adding the jars and workflow libraries for the outlook module in the Appian RPA console.

Hi,I have downloaded the latest jre version and installed it but anytime I run a bot it gives me this error of "[ERROR] 2022-05-10 18:54:49 - - java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException    at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)    at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)" and more lines of error? Any clue on how this can be managed?

Hello, I am using Appian RPA using Google Chrome to login to a client web site for downloading PDF documents. The URLs for downloading the PDFs are obtained from the web site, but on navigating to these URLs the documents are getting directly opened in browser. Is there a way by which I can download them ? I would also like to whether there is a way by which I can directly upload these documents to Appian without downloading them to the local machine ? Hello! I'm with a problem using Appian RPA that when I click in one button in any browser (IE, Chrome or Firefox) it opens another tab that I can't switch to. I can do that using "Does desktop window title match?" but using both "Does browser window title match?" and "Switch tab or browser" it doesn't work and I can't use that tab. Need to build a robot that will interact with JAVA/SWING client.  It seems that there are JAVA extensions by Robocorp and UIPath.  What are the implications for having that to work with APPIAN/RPA ?  Thanks

Hi!  We're having an update from windows 7 to windows 10 over our VM. With Win7 we do not have performance issues, but upgrading to win10 becomes a problem because all animations it has.  Also, Internet Explorer updated and also with the latest driver, looks like it behaviour its different.  And as a last resort, when trying to execute the agent on Win10 leads to not being able to assign more than 1024 mb to it, which we think, is the main problem to the performance problem we're facing.  Anyone has migrated from win7 to win 10 who can help us?  Thnx in advance.  Cheers!

I am learning Appian RPA and the documentation on the excelmap data provider is a little underwhelming. I am currently trying to get Appian RPA to just read the excel file but the only results for "Rows" is null. See below for screenshots of my configuration. I am able to get the other low code methods working just fine. The only problem is the excel file is in my support files, But RPA doesn't seem to recognize it as present and as a result outputs "Null" every execution. Ideally I would like to iterate over the rows and get the information per row, I put the count rows just as a test to see if it would work correctly but to no avail. Any help is appreciated!

Question in the title. How can I download the source code of a robotic process already created?  I know you can download the source code of a robotic process you just created. I am just not aware of how to do this for an already existing process. Thank you, Saeed

Hi to all. I'm looking for sections in "New Robotic Process Designer"  like the previous one :- can we find it in the new version, and if there is an alternative to that, please explain. 

Greetings everyone I'm designing a robotic processes using the new RPA Version, but noticed that there is no copy and paste of the nodes nor duplicating existing action groups in the new version. Most of the work I do requires duplicating the action due to the similarity. Does anyone know a way to duplicate actions?
