Hi Team, There was a timeout error, what this signifies? Here, we pull the data from snowflake as a batches. In the integration, we have setup to 1500 seconds. Will increasing query timeout help here?

Hi Everyone, I have ha grid having four columns that have a button at the last column. The button is record field action and the grid is selectable. I would like to display the button in that row only which is selected. Can anyone please help me how to achieve this.

Hi All, I'm not having the desired result when using proper() with words including special characters.  We receive the error when the user's name has special characters.  EXP)  O'Neal is being saved as O'neal, Aube-Kubel as Aube-kubel, etc. I need to implement a rule for capitalizing letters after special characters, but not sure how to proceed.  Any assistance is appreciated, thanks!

Hi Experts, Need your help in the following issue: I have created one view that is getting data from a table in a DB. Then I created the CDT for the same from that DB and then the DS is also verified and published with no error. But on retrieving the data from a DB rom a query entity I am getting the following error:   Using the Record Type also I am getting the following error while viewing the Record list, We have only 194 records in that view:  Please help me to identify the cause of the error. 

Hello, im new to appian and we have a requirement that after submitting the Form it should go to the Record List interface next and i have checked and "Confirmation URL" should do the job done. but im having trouble configuring it. i have used : "site and tempo links" dev.appian.com/suite/sites/sandbox/page/record-list dev.appian.com/suite/tempo/reports/view/KQPHyA please help. thank you very much!

I have an editable grid when i go to add a row and fill it with some values and then clone the same row.I want to know that if the user clones or the data of both the rows is the same then the flag should be set to true and if the user clone the row and then change the data in that case set the flag as false. can anybody help me to make expression rule. Hi, We have stopped Appian server and trying to restart it by following the Appian Documentaion. (https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/22.1/Linux_Installation_Guide.html#part-3-startup-and-setup) When tryed to start the "Search-Server", error showed and could not make the "Search-Server" start. Error Message was like -> "ERROR: Unable to start Appian Search Server." and "For complete error details, refer to the log at /app/appian/logs/search-server/appian-search-cluster.log" -> but could not find such log (appian-search-cluster.log). P.S. Could the warning message "warning: usage of JAVA_HOME is deprecated, use ES_JAVA_HOME" have relation with such error? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is showing message like " When your environment is available, you will receive an email with your credentials. Return here to check on your request status. ". Anyone knows how many days it will take to create My Community Edition Site? or Do I have contact or send email to anyone for creating?  If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

hi, I am getting error while trying to connect to API - api.spacexdata.com/v4 in the learning tutorial - Build a Low Code App. Anybody else facing this issue? I have checked the spelling and everything is correct. Response is coming as connection error. Require help as I am unable to proceed further in the tutorial.

Hello Team, I'm studying for the Associate Developer Certification and I came across with this question:  You need to create a record type with data sync enabled. What are the supported Data Sources?   A. Web Services, Salesforce, Database.   B. Web Services, Process Reports, Database.   C. Salesforce, Process Models, Database.   In my opinion, both A and C are right answers according with what I read in the docs. Does anyone know if there is a right option and why?

Hello, I am following a guide for Appian Developer Online (80 hours). I am stuck on the " Application Building Blocks", course 3 "Design Appian Records Part 1", "Build an application: Step 4". On the page 6 of the document, I am supposed to select AS_vehicle… based on what the document is saying, it should sync the Vehicles list, but I don't see that. appreciate all the help I can get.  Thank You!!

Hi, I want to add a unique constraint to a column in my database, so that I can have a One-to one relation with another table, I am unable to figure out how to add this to the column. Any help would be much appreciated.

For my user story I am creating an interface section to display 4 cards for an Agenda's meeting information. For one of them I have a link that appears when a meeting is on one of the cards; the link is being shown as an icon. I was asked to make the link more obvious by underlining it but I am not sure how I am able to underline an icon. I was able to make the link correctly and it appears as the icon but I can't get the underline to appear. Any ideas? Hi, I am new to Appian and working on a Prototype for a client. I have a use case to upload a set of files to a folder that is created for each new client and then view these uploaded documents in document viewer for review. Can someone provide some help to do this please?

Hi am new to Appian can any one suggest what should be learning path and certification process 

I want to add a custom record field to a record, this field should calculate a count with related record A when isActive=true and calculate a count with related record B when isActive=false. How should I do? And how do I reference to other field(eg. isActive) in current record when writing expression for custom record field?
