Hi guys, I have created an expression rule; "AD_VM_GetRentalCustomers_recordDataSource", which contains fields I require to be displayed in a record. How do I direct the record to display the read only data that is contained in my expression rule, i.e. details of rental customers? Many thanks

Hi, all I am trying to get my user input interface to display in Design mode so I can re-map inputs to changed fields in my CDTs. I am unable to open it in Design mode, only in Expression Mode. I am seeing the triangle with the exclamation mark in the margin. When hovering over this I get the following error: Expression evaluation error: Syntax error. Details: Expression evaluation error at function a!floatingPointField parameter 8 [line 239]: The Target is missing. Here is the relevant section of code: The rule input is valid. Any ideas? From what I searched, the documentation said "The Installer can be downloaded from the Download tabs on My-Appian", But, could not find any installer within. Where can I find the Appian Installer?

I have an instance where the user selects 1 to many event numbers to generate a report.  I am attempting to set it up where I have one template and it fills it out and combines them all to together to generate a final report that maybe any number of pages.  I have a Query node that pulls the data and a Fill PDF node that fills in the data once.  How can I get this setup where is basically loops through the 2 nodes, adding a page to the PDF each time?

Good day,   We are in the process of setting up an Appian server. We managed to obtain a temporary license to try to complete the configuration process and ran into a problem with the administration password file.   As we edit the passwords.properties.rate file for our system, we try to change the values as indicated in our documentation. Yet when we try to login, we get an invalid user name or password error. It does not seem to record our changes.   The only user that appears in the users file is the administrator.   Any indication why it is behaving like this? Thank you

Good day,   We are trying to setup an Appian server and are at the stage to request a long term license. Our documentation states that we need to run the q.exe command which generates a banner with the system configuration and k4.lic info.   However, this is what we get: Would you know what could be generating this error as it prevents us from configuring the long term license for our system? 1. Want to test an on-premise version of Appian. From Appian forum, I found something like the picture below.  But it doesn't provide any installers. 2. Found a link for "Requesting and installing a license." https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/21.1/Requesting_and_Installing_a_license.html  but when I click the "Licenses" link within the link, the picture below comes up. Could I get specific steps that I can follow to get an on-premise test version of Appian?

Hello Appian. From Admin console I have connected a new data source (MariaDB type), to use it instead of the Appian cloud database.  But, the performance(speed) is too slow.  Do I have to adjust some kind of settings? How do I boost up the performance(speed), using the new data source that I have added?

I am working through the Step By Step Exercises related to the developer online training and Exercise 8 is illustrating how to create a drill down report from a bar chart to a read only grid. This appears to be reliant on a link being utilized to populate a variable that is then utilized to filter the data in the grid. It is showing an option existing in the component configuration pane for creating a link on the bar chart. I am not seeing this link and have been unable to determine how to make this work. Did something change? Please let me know how I would go about doing this using a record.  Thanks
