Hello, I want to generate CSV file and send it via mail.  There are smart services through we can generate CSV file but in this case my data is not stored in tables.  Please see below:  Functionality to generate CSV file on demand and send it to the User. In this Case since data is not yet saved in Appian tables, fetch inputs from Process Variables and generate the CSV when User clicks the button. Can anyone help me in this? Thanks

Hi, I want to open excel workbook after using download document action in RPA. So in download document I am using a variable that receives the excel file from interface & process model, on execution I can see the file downloaded in the provided path. I have 2 issues : - The variable for file shows as null instead of the document value coming from the interface and PM, even when it successfully downloads it?Thanks in advance.

I am using a windows machine and while trying to use the Task Recorder on Appian RPA by following the Tutorial: Get Soccer Stats with RPA, being stored at step: Create Robotic Task: Hover over the headshot for Lionel Messi, click Actions, and select Get attribute...Under Save into, click the plus button to create a new variable to save the values into.  It won't be able to create or search existing variable, because it cannot set variable  type to Text  as well as cannot search existing variable your advice and help is very appreciated!   thanks!

Record Type "Employees" which contains "employeeID","firstName","lastName","email", ... I have a interface where i can add this data, i created a process model that saves this data and it creates a basic user in appian based on this data 2. Hii,       I have to involve Business Rules given by admin by controlling the internal team or percentage through Admin page. Details:      We have 3 internal teams, who will approve the request sent, now, ADMIN can set the internal teams, it might be 2 or 1 or 3. I am using Internal team Group which Contain 3 subgroups (Eg: PricingTeam, transportTeam,CashTeam) - Depends on Admin selection it should move forward. If Admin gave for x case it should go to only pricing and cash team, next time  he change for the x case to only pricing. Thanks,

If you have a database schema table with data that multiple applications need access to... 1. Do you create a single Record Type which multiple application use/share?  This in my opinion tightly couples your applications. 2. Do you create separate Record Types per application so they can evolve separately?  This in my opinion allows each application to evolve it's Record Type independently, and the only tight coupling is the shared database table structure. What are your thoughts and recommendations on the two approaches?

Hello there, I wanted to convert html to csv file and send CSV file in email. I have used "HTML Doc from Template" node and "Convert HTML to CSV" node. My CSV file has generated at backend folders but HTML file is going in email. How Can i send a CSV file in email? Please suggest. Thanks

I have tried to do it with several methods through the ProcessExecutionService, but I can't find a way to do it. Hi All, Is there a way to implement a form for other users that are not in the application to fill out, but at least have some sort of validation of who gets access to this form.  The purpose is to save the form information but the user who fills it out is not an application user, and this form doesn't appear in any menus of our application. Is this possible?

As per my Requirement I need to use the Dual Picklist with Editable Grid in Interface instead with Dual Picklist with Checkbox Design Pattern. So the issue here is 1.Currently i am having the 4 items in the available list 2. this  process model starts at particular date ,so it has 6 requests for today . timer has started and fetched the details and xor condition is true so it should update in db for each request instead  it updated all the values of 6 request for the 1st request .can someone help me on this

Now i have changed the interface from start node to user Input task in PM. now while using the related action it says Action Completed and task has been Assigned in My Appian Task Queue.  My Requirement:                   Once i clicked on related action button this interface should display for me.

Hi Team, I have a requirement where I need to convert MNI into batches/looping, since its reaching threshold(MNI has limitation of 1000). Can someone help how to convert . Requirement: I am trying to write data to database via Stored Proc(Data is huge). In advance I don't know how many records am getting to write in database via integration.  I cannot use Record, since its old Application(Business People are not in favor to convert to Record, since it has dependency on 100 objects.)
