Hi Experts I have a Oracle DB table in which a column is of CLOB type. I need to migrate that data in maria DB I'm able to get data but unable to store the same data in mariaDB Table contains 2 columns : one is id and another is of type CLOB which is actually a string Help me to store the data in mariaDB Thanks in advance

I'm attempting to use the Import endpoint of the Appian Deployment REST API v2. However, it continues to return the error listed below. Hi,  I have requirement to validate 4-digit pin. Below are the requirement of the 4-digit number 1. pin should not allow sequential numbers 2.  pin should not allow same numbers example: 1234 or 4321 or 0000, 1111 or 4444 or 2222 or 3333 numbers are not allowed as a card pin. can anyone please help me how to write logic for the validation. thanks in advance!

Hi! I have task to generate excel file, I am using Text Doc from Template. Almost all parameters I am passing like ###parameter###  but I  also have checkbox in template in which I should pass true/false and I am not sure how to do that.

I am looking for a way to store the task status Accepted in database as soon as user accepts the user input task assigned to him. We are not using database tasks and every assignment is done using out of the box Appian. How to achieve this using inbuilt appian Accept button on user input task?

Hi, I have a requirement to display an interface that includes a calendar (I'm using the googlecalendarchartfield plugin) to users who don't have an Appian account. I thought of creating a portal as a possible option, but when I publish the calendar interface, it shows the following message in the portal: I have read that this is because portals are not compatible with plugins. Is there any other alternative to display the interface to users who are not in Appian? Thank you very much.

I've created an WebAPI to save data by a!writeRecords(by WebAPI creation wizard) it worked fine when I test it by "TEST REQUEST" button, but when I call it by an Integrations, got error of {"message":"Write request has failed","error":"The input \"Records\" refers to an invalid record type. The record type does not exist, has been deleted, or the user does not have sufficient privileges to access the data."} I have create a Service Account, add SA to the security config with Administrator permission, to all objects, include WebAPI, RecordType Also add the API Key(Appian-API-Key) to Connected System. We currently want to stage records at a large scale( hundreds) to help our QC team with being able to replicate defects that require a large dataset. Currently it takes multiple days to stage these records with that amount of volume. I just wanted to know if anyone knows how to go about being able to stage records at a large scale. Thoughts?

Hi All, We have a process model running at 8:30 AM daily which will perform some updates in the database, this process will take maximum up to 5 minutes to complete. During this time we need to freeze home page for 5 mins by showing some warning message then after 5 minutes we can display the home page. Problem: When applying a!toJson on a record type, record fields of type user will be converted to JSON objects. When casting the JSON back to record type, it fails to convert the user object (dictionary) to User type with error: CastInvalidCould not cast from Dictionary to User.  Example recordType!Test(id: 1, createdBy: "user 1") - createdBy record field is USER type a!toJson on the above will return a json object with nested createdBy object: {"id"=1, "createdBy": {"id":"username1"}} a!fromJson returns a dictionary with createdBy as a nested dictionary: {id:1, createdBy:{id: "username1"}} casting to recordType!Test will throw error CastInvalidCould not cast from Dictionary to User.
