I have a process model that loops itself. In the screenshot I'm having an error in start process which I labeled as Node 2. The error is the max subprocess depth limit of 100 would be exceeded. My question is, if the subprocess depth limit is 100, the main process as count 1 in the process depth counter, the next start process smart service as 2, and the recursion as 3. Shouldn't it run only around 50 times? I checked logs and the process run 100 times, before getting an error in Node 2 in the screenshot. I think my calculation is just wrong but I need clarifications on how is this calculated.

I have this view of records: When I click in the wraped link it opens the related summary record as follows: Do you know if is it possible to take out the wraped header or, at least, change the look of the buttons? And, moreover, as the buttons don´t fit in the header it shows and icon to see more actions. Thanks in advance.

So when I am trying to convert the DOCX file to PDF using the PDF from DOCX smart service. My document is not generating in the way I expect it to be. The same file if I convert online I can see the exact thing and the pdf version is same as docx but through appian I see change in font size and the words being misplaced. 

 I have the following requirement: In the backend table called conditions I have the columns called operator and value which have the values < and 18 I need to check the condition if the incoming is age is less than 18 then display true That is if( ri!age<18, true(), false()).  Here I need to get the values of the operator and value from the back end table,  I am using query record to get the condition table output.  How can I achieve this?

The issue I’m facing is that the table formatting is not preserved in the generated PDF. In the DOCX file, long text (e.g., email addresses) wraps correctly inside the table cell and does not overflow. However, in the generated PDF, the same text overflows outside the table cell, even though the DOCX appears perfectly formatted. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is there a workaround or specific table formatting that the plugin requires so the PDF output respects cell boundaries? Thanks in advance!

Good Afternoon, I am utilizing the pdf doc from template smart service to generate a pdf that is a snapshot document of a form that has been filled out by a user on the site.  The template I need to use in the smart service is an editable pdf template of the form that I then dynamically fill the inputs from the user into the template to generate the document.  The Problem:  The produced PDF document from the smart service is still an editable version while I need it to be a read only.  Does anyone have a solution for converting the generated new PDF from the smart service from editable to read only before I send it to off site storage?  Thank you

Dear all, we are facing an inspection error during the deployment process of the Case Management version 1.6 on Appian 24.3 as shown in the image below. We confused either the SYSTEM_GROUP_ROLE_STUDIO_EDITORS  group should be present with the package zip file or must presents on our current Appian installation as system group so if its a system group why it's not available in our current Appian 24.3

Hi All, I'm trying to create a folder in external SFTP server and then send documents present in my appian folder to that sftp folder created. I have used SFTP Create Folder Smart Service. How do I map a customized folder name which is stored in a PV of type text to this SFTP Create Folder Smart Service? In the File path configurations, I don't see any parameter to which I can map the folder name. Please advise.

Some of the queryRecordTypes are working slow for us in prod. I am trying to monitor the performance and it has something 'performanceView.breadcrumb.recordQuery' highlighted. What does that mean and what part of the query/record it points to? Any idea Also, Appian do recommend using queryRecordType to get the data from the related records too but when I have filters and logical expressions applied to them they are performing slow.

Hi everyone, I’m currently experiencing an issue where the round() function does not return the expected results. Below are some examples. In case 2, the expected result is 512.93, but Appian returns 512.92. Additionally, in case 3, even when applying the workaround recommended in KB-1426, the output is still not correct. KB1426 document : community.appian.com/.../kb-1426-unexpected-results-on-decimal-calculations-and-rounding If the round() function cannot reliably produce correct rounding results in cases like these, is there any known alternative approach — such as a custom Expression Rule or reusable utility — to achieve accurate decimal rounding in Appian? I’m looking for: A method that consistently returns mathematically correct rounding results A reusable rule that avoids floating-point precision issues Any best practices other users may have implemented for similar cases Any suggestions, patterns, or examples would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I am having issues with the sync between Appian data types and corresponding Java plugin objects. In Appian, I have two CDTs called ‘AttachmentList’ and ‘AttachmentDescriptor’. They were generated from ‘AttachmentList.xsd’ and ‘AttachmentDescriptor.xsd’, respectively.  As seen in the screenshots above, ‘AttachmentList’ contains one field called ‘Attachments’, where ‘Attachments’ is an array of ‘AttachmentDescriptor’ data types. These two CDTs share the same namespace. I have a custom Java plugin node that takes an AttachmentList data type as input. I've created a process that utilizes the PDF Doc from Template Smart Service that was working correctly until this past weekend. There were no changes to the process model or to the template used to create our documents. I use to see a fully filled out pdf and now am seeing a blank page with empty boxes that display a value when clicked. Hi Team, Im trying a batch list of text items and prepare a query based on that. Below is my code snippet. I have decision rule that's need to have output list of text and have more than 500 characters. I am using the output of desicion rule into multiple dropdown and store values into database that have limitation 1000 characters. How to increase this limitation?
