We are looking to connect to customers Data Warehouse (Google BigQuery) by configuring a Custom Data Source (JDBC).  Curious if any others have implemented this successfully?   

Good Evening Appians, i have a student record type and a course record type and both works fine but the problem is, i want to pick the ID of the particular logged in student and attach it to an interface where it will save to the db on triggering the submit button. Please how do i achieve this ??

I want to implement a scenario where a User Input Task is getting assigned to a configured user in loop which is getting executed based on some real time data, please see the screenshot below to understand the scenario better. The issue here is when 2nd time I'm reaching out to Approval Task I'm not able to open the interface it says "The Task Could Not Be Submitted The task has already been submitted." Please see below Neither I'm getting any notification email for this Task.  Can someone please suggest what am I doing wrong here, or if there is anything wrong with this implementation.

I have a scenario where the user uploads one or many tiff files, and then wants to see them displayed in a gridlayout. I had already built out the process before realizing that imageField does not support Tiff. I have seen a plugin that converts tiff to pdf, but this doesn't help as I don't think there is a way to display a pdf in a gridlayout (please correct me if I am wrong!). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Appian's Rich Text component doesn't seem to render or handle extended ASCII char very well. In the above example we can see the same text rendered. Ideally we would like to display these text in a mono spaced manner. In addition to mono space issue; there also appears to be a vertical spacing issue. Is there a way to configure a rich text component so it complies with ASCII extended chars better?

Scenario: User wants to bulk edit rows of data which have been stored in MariaDB. User is presented with data (ranging upto 150 rows) in an editable grid. The first column in the editable grid is a picker field whose suggestFunction calls an external REST API. When the user loads the page (clicks "edit" record), will the REST API be invoked per row of the editable grid?

Hi, I'm in an interface A, and I'm calling a process from a!startProcess.Inside the process I have an Input task to display interface B. Could you explain me why when I call the process, it works fine but the Interface B is never displayed ? (all the nodes are linked with chaining)

Hi All, I am getting a datatype mismatch erro when I am connecting and creating a fk from a pk from another table.Each and every confirguation is same for both the columns except the following: PK column is default none with auto increment FK column is default null  Can you please guide me on what mismatch I am missing as this is a usual case and easily implementable.

Hi,We must configure Okta in Appian.When adding a new SAML identity provider, I've added a .pem certificate but Appian is rejecting it saying the private key is missing ? But I've read over the web that only the public key was required (and only public key is in my possession). Am I missing somthing ?Any help would be appreciated.  Finally, would you know where I can find good tutorials to configurate Okta in Appian ?

I have a Site say "ABC". In that site, i have configured a record which has multiple tabs: summary, cases, audit etc.  My Requirement is, whenever i click on a tab, the name at the browser tab should show that. For eg, If i click on Summary, the browser tab should show summary. I have attached a screenshot for reference. I checked, it could be achieved by configuring dynamic display name in the Sites, but I don't know how to achieve that. Is there any code snippet or example for display name using expresssions in SITE. Thanks in advance

Windows server allowing 5 concurrent user session logins. Can we have different Appian RPA processes running in different sessions at the same time? Which means installing the agent for each user specific session and connecting it with console and resource. 

I am looking for ways besides cards to initiate startProcessLink from a UI. Initially I was trying to replicate the look of Card Record Actions, but when I use a card layout I run into issues on mobile or smaller screens where the card becomes hard to read, or a scroll bar appears. Card choice field does not support links. Or is there a way to remove the scrollbar from cards?
