Hello devs, I need your help. I have two records: 'account' and 'transaction', and the 'balance' field of 'account' varies based on the value of the 'Amount' field of 'Transaction'. I've added conditions to update the 'Balance' (in the saveInto function) when the user clicks 'Create transaction' and it works well in the interface the field in my ruleInput record has been updated, but the update isn't happening at the database level. How can I dynamically change the balance on my site based on the value of the 'Amount' field of the transaction record?

Scenario: The user started the process and before process completes  user  left the bank .The sub process got errored because  assignment of  nodes is 'run as whoever started the process'. In this scenario , do we need to change assignment of that node to 'run as designer of  the process'. in the production and restart the instance , or any other Approach?

Hi Everyone, We have one functionality as we are validating the data in excel and load the data into db. I uploaded file with 1500 rows and 129 columns each row will have, I am getting below error when i try to upload 1500.   The System Has encountered an error, An error occured while processing your request.  but when i found in server log below is the one,Can anyone of you please mention what is the below error stating? which size it is mentioning as 200,000,00? I have a process model using the Export data store entity to Excel smart service that works; however, the Boolean values in one of the columns are being displayed as 1s and 0s rather than true or false. How do I configure the Export data store entity to Excel smart service to display "true" or "false" using toBoolean or cast function?  

What is the main difference between end node and terminate node from process/architect perspective like archive, data management/ engine? PS: we all know the implementation that if terminate node execute then it will close any in progress node in a process unlike end node.

For many years, Appian designers have been unable to easily log data upon the acceptance of a task (when a user clicks "Accept"). Whenever the business asks for this, whether for task metrics, or updating statuses, or any other reason, we usually tell them it's impossible or come up with mediocre workaround using a splash screen with a custom task assignment / acceptance. I have a button named "Save Decision" on task details page, on clicking it automatically kicks out and returns to the home page(Where all tasks are displayed) and also the task assignee gets changed (to the one who was its original assignee before reassignment) In the code, upon clicking on "Save Decision" we are just saving data to few variables. Tried to debug but could not locate the reason. does anyone know what might be the reason for it ? Thanks

Hello, in a process I am using "Post Comment to Feed Entry", the value of author being passed is a user who is deactivated. This process sometime works fine and intermittently gives me generic error as below- An error occurred while trying to post a comment or hazard to the feed (entry id: [382]). Details: The supplied feed entry [382] is not accessible (APNX-1-4181-100) This is strange behavior, any idea why does it work sometime because I believe passing deactivated user as author should give an error always. TIA!

I have two instances now where related data is not showing up in a read only and editable grid.  To solve this problem before, I had to create an Expression Rule to retrieve the data (not the record) for display purposes.  This is the latest example. I have an editable grid that shows the positions for a specific clergy member. Getting this error when trying go into the application, not only for our application, clicking on other applications in same environment happen the same. But when I switch to another browser (Chrome), no error when opening application Also having this error 'unable to acquire JDBC connection' in many places in our application. Are these same issue?

Currently I am using appian provided Document extraction AI skills. While running the process it is taking approx 3~5 min for document extraction from a high resolution pdf. How can we improve the performance of the AI skill, any thoughts?

Hi, I have an issue when using custom sender in the email sending nodes. I have a very simple process with two email sending nodes in parallel. Both nodes are configured exactly the same, except for the sender type: one of them is 'Custom sender' and the other is 'Process'. I have tried different combinations in the 'Sender email' field, and nothing works. To rule out that the email is going to a spam folder, I have put a personal email in the recipient email, and only the email configured with 'From: Process' arrives, just as it happens when I use a corporate email. Furthermore, in the 'Sender email' field, I have tried using both the toemailrecipient() function and the toemailaddress() function. Neither of the nodes gives an error. Any ideas on what might be happening?
