How to list all the members of a group and store them to a local variable to show them in a grid also select multiple members to delete and add the members, using groupmember function?

Hi  I need advice. Read CSV file and want to find duplicate value. if there are duplicate values .I want to display error msg.. I was able to load the CSV and remap it to the map list, but I was unable to check for duplicates values and unable to add error msg. Image like the attached image

Hello, I have editable grid where I'm trying to save all the selections in rule input after that I will use the rule input to push the data to database. The problem is that I'm not able to save the multi drop down as an array when I select more then one option it save only one and not all in the rule input. I want to implement single sign on in appian using saml authentication so in implementaing , we have to provide webaddress identifier and service provider meta ,what kind of data that we have to provide service provider metadata?  we are refering this url : SAML for Single Sign-On - Appian 24.1

Hello everyone, I'm looking to archive process instances that are currently active, paused, or paused due to an exception. We've already configured process instance archival after 5 days with deletion after 3 days, but we now have over 10,000 process instances in these states that we want to archive instead of deleting, as we may need them in the future. Is there a script or another method we can use to archive these instances? Thanks, Manish

i got this error where i used remove() but i tried remove(null, index) will return null instead of error, so what could cause this error?

The "user" parameter has a value that does not exist, has been deleted, or you do not have sufficient privileges to access its data .  I am using record events and tracked the changes in the history table which are auto created in the events   ,  As an admin i can able to view the data , whereas normal users are getting this week , i have check all the records type user records they are having viewer permission  Please let me know what could be the problem 

Hi, I have a requirement to download the grid data along with the documents in to excel. I have seen there is a plugin  Embed Image into Excel  but, i dont see any success stories on it and it is not updated recently. Can someone suggest the way on this. THanks Soujanya

So when the user selects a particular interface, a document is generated and if the user selects the 'cancel' button then the document is deleted. There are cases where the document might get deleted through another form so if you try to select the cancel button, then an error message appears. Right now this is the idea for the process model but its not fixing the issue so please let me know if you see anything that might fix the issue. the 3PI exchange node generates the document, then the XOR node checks to see if the pv!download_doc is null or not and if it is, then move to the end event, if not then to delete the document and end the event. I tried a few other options for the XOR node but this is basically as far as I know what to do?

Let me explain  I want to get to see the summary view of a user but with all the related action bar that appears up top  of the summary view  interface I'm being  able to redirect to the interface of the summary  but i can't see the things that  i see  when Im  on the record type with all the the actions . i hope any of  you guys could help me  or tell me if this is possible or not thanks

Hi. I was setting up some save functionality for the one spot in my code that saves to a particular variable. I had a rule that outputs null under certain conditions, but kept watching it show up as {null} instead. I have tried to simplify the issue and have found saving into the localvariable something like {"Apple", "Banana"} results in straight null instead.  What is happening in my interface? If i save the same value to a random debug variable it works fine.

Hi Folks! I have a scenario here which seems impossible to solve. We have an excel template where column A has formula that increments row number if we add data in column B. This excel is used as template in Appian where we are querying a view and dumping the data in this excel. When we tried doing this, the formula is overridden by the values from the view. So the formula doesn't work anymore if we add more rows in the excel. If we keep column A blank while generating template from Appian, we need to update something explicitly in column B for the values in column A to auto-populate. We don't want to use VBA code as well since macros are disabled by default. Is there any way that the formula could work even if we dump data in column A from Appian, any plugin or configurations we could do in Appian or anything on excel side? We want to avoid the situation where we are keeping column A blank just for the formula to work or manually enter values in column A on every row

I have one requiremnt where i need to just convert the raw data into respective CDT. Is it possible to convert into the CDT without expression data. I have used cast but it is not worthy to be work. Hi Team, Is there any way to open Modal pop up window in Appian , our requirement is to open chat bot like popup on the right hand side of the page when user clicks on button.  The Record Relation way I have already tried and its opening on the entire page as popup, and also have tried the show hide way of showing interface. besides these two ways is there any other way of showing popup window in Appian for chat bot. Do you any of you guys know how to add a button in an interface with the function of converting a query or a record type to an excel and downloading the converted excel in a push of that button without needing a grid and its built in export function?

Hi All, I have a scenario where Appian task is already created with the task display name, for example as 'Task abc with amount $100". Now when the user opens the task form, the amount will be recalculated in local variables and and are updated in database using Store Procedure execution function in local variables . So, every time when the form loads, the amount will get refreshed and updated in Database as well. Now my issue is ,when the amount is refreshed, the task display name should also get refresh, for example if the amount is refreshed from $100 to $200 , then task display name should be 'Task abc with amount $200". Note: The amount in task will get refreshed at the time of form loads, without any user interaction inside the form. Please help me to achieve this. Thanks in Advance.
