You will typically need the SFTP server address, port number, username, and password. And please suggest the best SFTP software among them: WinSCP, Cyberduck, or command-line tools: OpenSSH.

Hii,   In the process of moving the log files from Appian to AWS cloud watch, I found a way i.e to possibly download the .csv and .log files in bulk amounts and then move them to the Aws S3 Bucket. So to do so I found a function in the SFTP plug-in, "queryappianlogs()" but not sure what are the parameters to pass like the SQL statements. Can you please help me to sort out this one, this allows me to download fixed to 1000 rows.

I'm in the appian designer and I'm trying to sort my datasets by description. Normally if you use an underscore "_" as the first character, entries with the "_" as its first character will appear at the top of the list when sorting alphabetically. Not with Appian however  Anything with an "_" as its first character sorts to the bottom of the list, not the top. Example  Any NameBny NameCny Name_ny Name Why? No one else seems to do it this way. I've worked with dozen of applications and none of them sort the "_" character last like this.  Is this a bug or is Appian taking a page from MS' playbook and assumes that it knows better than everyone how sorting should work? How can I fix this or find a work around? I don't want to resort to using 1, 2, 3... in order to force my descriptions to sort properly.

Hi Team, I have a requirement to execute an expression rule by its UUID/Name. The UUID/Name of the rules to be executed will be saved in the DB, during the runtime the system should read the UUID/Name and execute the rule corresponding to it. Thanks in Advance !

Hi All, I have an Map operator which contains key value pairs as  {eventId:6,actualsId:1,planId:2} i saved it in a process variable in a script task and then when i tried doing the value as  pv!map.eventId it is saving the value as 6, if i do index(pv!map,"eventId",999) it is saving as 999 instead of 6. Not sure what is the issue. Any one faced such kind of issue in process model. Please Note : I tried this in Process model not in rule. In rule it is working fine.

Hi everyone,  I have an interface that contain a submit button to submit a request, that when the submit button is clicked, it will start a process model by a!startProcess() in a!save(). After clicking the submit button, I want that process model to not run until 21:00 that day. How do I set the timer event to achieve that result? The button will be clicked every day, and I want to delay that day's process instances until 21:00 each day, not just 1 single day. I'm not sure how to define the date and time yet. Could any one help? Thank you!

Hi All, We have a requirement of uploading 500 rows at a time. Out of 500 instances i see few instances are failing with the below error. a!queryRecordType [line 2]: APNX-3-4300-001: Connection pool drained - too many concurrent requests: org.apache.http.conn.ConnectionPoolTimeoutException: Timeout waiting for connection from pool) (Data Outputs). What could be the reason of failure though the data is being fetched from the cached data of a record type? Thanks in Advance !!

Hi Everyone,  We have a requirement where  Application is writing 500 rows parallely via startprocess smart service(Loop).   Now for every Write opertion sync will run that means sync will run 500 times in backend. It seems to be creating connection pool issue  though connection pool is 200.   can some one suggest the best soultion in this case? Thanks in Advance!!

We are sending 3 Documents for Customer for DocuSign using connected System. Requirement is hold the process After DocuSign Mail has sent to Customer and resume after the DocuSign completed by customer.(Real time implementation) once the user completes the Signature ,  we want to get response from DocuSign to Appian mentioning event completed until this response get from DocuSign to Appian the Flow will be paused. whenever the response hits the Appian then the Process has to be Resumed and  flow will be continued.

Sending an email to the user in which there is a URL link that will redirect the user to a particular view in a record. We have two tabs in the contact logs view, one contact log, and a second appointment And we have to redirect to the appointment tab but both tabs have the same URL because these 2 tabs are within the interface. Currently, when we click on the URL link it is redirecting to the contact logs tab by default. Many thanks in advance
