I am trying to save data using Rich Text Editor having longtext Data Type. But when I check the record type for the saved data, the full data is not showing up, only 40% data is showing up in record. What can be the possible reasons for it?

in the expression the time value shows in EDT, but the zone display as GMT+00:00. how can I change this ?

Need to add multiple phone numbers.. on screen  and want to store in DB .. what could be the best approach

how should i approach from appian side ... to add mobile number dynamically .. Hello Community, U want to use a array of CDT's as input to the text from template smartservice. It works fine for 1 Line. How to configure the next CDT's Will append to the document on the next Line? Tried joinarray char 13 and char 10, this only works for one mergefield. Kind regards, Erik

I have a dropdown component and I want certain values to be available for choice based on the security groups of the user. For example someone who is only in group A might be able to choose 1, 2 or 3 from a dropdown, someone in group B might be able to choose 4, 5 and 6 from the dropdown and someone who is in both groups would be able to choose all 6 options. Changing the dropdown labels/values based on group is not a big deal to do, however, since the dropdown only allows values to exist that are within the currently available list of labels/values, if group A chooses 1 and someone in group B looks at the form, the 1 will be invalid and break the interface. What would be a good way to get around this issue?

Hello everybody we have got this message in tomcat logs: "A high-memory expression evaluation was logged, but the evaluation was not identified. The expressions aborted log will not contain all evaluation info" and this message is repeated several times and between every occurrence there are the lines that I have put in the log in attachment. I would ask if someone has ever met this error, or in alternative if you can give to me some hints,  after the reading of the log, that in my opinion in quite hard to understand. Hi, There is a CDT which is calling a Sequence in Oracle as a primary key. Below is the extract from CDT. <xsd:element name="recordId" nillable="true" type="xsd:int"> <xsd:annotation> <xsd:appinfo source="appian.jpa">@Column(name="RECORD_ID") @Id @GeneratedValue @SequenceGenerator(name="sequence", sequenceName="A_RECORD_ID", allocationSize=1)</xsd:appinfo> </xsd:annotation> </xsd:element> For some reason, when we are trying to insert data in the table some other sequence is being called and we are getting "Unique key Violation". We are able to identify that sequence but not able to figure how this is happening. We could not find any trigger in the table. Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

 hi all, We have a view for bar cart field which recently bracked in prod due heavy volume of data approx (1,048,576) records in my sql db .  so we plan to query data going with sp with (executestoredprocedure) function. my question is can we query data in a barcart field with SP ? while executing SP  with mandatory  parameters getting error as "Use the Execute Stored Procedure Smart Service to modify data. My Appian Timezone is set to Pacific time Below functions are returning correct time now()  -   2/20/2023 5:40 AM PST datetime(year(now()),month(now()),day(now()),hour(now()),minute(now()))   -  2/20/2023 5:40 AM PST However, when I try to create datetime where I want to change the date and time acc to my preference, the timezone offset gets added.  datetime(year(now()),month(now()),day(now()),0,0) – 2/19/2023 4:00 PM PST   I want the output as - 2/20/2023 12:00 AM PST       Requirement for which I want to create datetime in specific timezone. Now I want to create a datetime so that I can use it to filter the datetime column stored in DB I need to fetch all rows from DB where the createdDate is say 2/20/2023 so for that I thought of creating a query filter as Date between (2/20/2023 12:0AM PST and 2/20/2023 11:59 PM PST). However I am unable to create datetime in particular time zone

Dear community, within our project we have the requirement of full traceability from a work-item in azure devops to the actual code changes. Hi there, One question here I have a URL need to be insert into email body. This URL will be different between DEV site and PROD site. I am trying to define a constant for this URL. but dont know how to insert it into email body, as "insert web link" does not accept constant. tried use using safelink in "Insert an expression". not good.
