Hi, my client wants the search box and the filter style of a common Record Type. We implemented a gridfield with a!recordData as "data", but with time, it became very slow. I would like to implement the pagination, but with the a!recordData is not possible. Even, I tried to use the a!queryRecordType() and it works fine (it's very fast!) but in this way, we lose the possibility of having the checkbox and the user filters and the Excel export button, and so on... Does anyone know how to help me? I already tried to maximize the performance of the record type with default filters, but I don't know how to face this issue. Thank you to whom will help me!

Hello, For storing date and time for (dateTime type variable) in record I'm using now() function. But in record type its format is like : 9/10/2023 12:50 PM GMT+05:30 and in database it is of this format : 2023-09-10 08:06:33.100000. I want in record type and database should have same format like this : 9/10/2023 12:50 PM GMT+05:30.  As I'm using stored procedure to get data between two dates, but I'm passing the date format as 9/10/2023 12:50 PM GMT+05:30 and in database it is in this format 2023-09-10 08:06:33.100000, so not getting the data after executing stored procedure. Trying to find new info and gather more information on Tempo, browsing through docs and community posts, I have a feeling that Tempo isn't used anymore. Is Tempo deprecated? What could be the reason for it? From what I've understood is Tempo was used in Tasks, reports, Records & record actions. We now have Summary, News Fields shown from the record actions. I a newbie, correct me if I'm wrong anywhere. Also, is Appian more inclined towards embedded interfaces and sites rather than Tempo? If so, should I be investing more time in learning Tempo. Last question, from exams perspective, ACD100 if Tempo is legacy(or about to be) can the questions be based on older versions of Appian, where Tempo was more extensively used?

I have created a node with the SyncRecords Smart Service My record to update is called: "CPF_Lineas_Pedido" My primary key is a concat() from another two fields of the record: "CONCAT_PEDIDO_MATERIAL" (f.example, "Pedido1-Rueda"). This primary key is saved in the first interface of the process The process variable which I use to "Collect" the primary keys is correctly saved:  And as you can see, all the values are the same as the records primary key By now, all the field (in which I have created/updates via Query Database Smart Service) changes are correctly saved in my DB, but not sync (I have to do it manually to see the results in my Site) Do you think the problem is because I´m using a complex primary key (Text and concat value)? What can I do to fix and automatize my sync?

Hi! I have made a process in which my Invoice Lines (Record 1) are set with the status "Billed" in the end, after passing multiple logics. Now, I would like to query the Purchase Order Lines (Record 2) from my process model and set their status to "Billed" too. In this case, I have to apply the following conditions: 1) The Purchase Order ID is the same as the used in my process  2) The materials of the Order Lines are the same as the ones created in the process I have been trying with the query database smart service (update-set-where) but it gives me problems when trying to filter by a more than one string (materials) How can I afford this "update" in my process? Which smart services do you recommend me to use?

I have a rule rule expression which returns a datasubset in which the data has repeating rows. Since the data is coming from a view in mysql backend, I want to handle this in appian by getting only unique rows and remove all duplicate rows while still maintaining the paging. The data should be unique for 'stateroomRequestId'. Hi All, I currently have 3 tables, managers, employees, and a third table for foreign keys managers_employees where I have a primary key, a foreign key to the managers table and a foreign key to the employees table. When I'm trying to write to the DB I'm having an issue with the employees foreign keys since they can be multiple employees but they all belong to the same manager. Hi! I have a summary view with a read-only grid (from Record 1). When I run my process model, I make a query (type "UPDATE" and "SET") to change the status of one of the fields, and I need the read-only grid to update After I run the process model, the value of the variable in my Record Type (Data Preview) changes succesfully... But it does not change in my read-only grid (based on this record I have shown in the last image). To make it "update", I have to go to "Sync Options" --> Start Full Sync manually. After doing this, the read only grid updates. Y tried to use the refresh button of the read only grid but doesn´t work, only full sync What can be happening? Thanks a lot!

Brief Summary: I have a CDT with near to 500 fields that holds some values and just to mentioned I am not using any nested CDTs. I'm using that CDT inside an interface to hold values. I am worried if the application could face any issues in the future if it grows larger. I would like to know even if I have more than 500 fields, is it safe to use that CDT in the application or is it causes any issues in the future. Note: I don't wish to proceed for partial CDTs by breaking the entire CDT into sub-CDTs. Please list down what kind of issues my application may face, if any, down in the comments. Hi! I have a site page created from a record list (invoices) When I click in one of the Invoices Id, I access to a summary view (interface), in which I created not only additional information of the record "invoices", but also a read-only grid from another record (Invoice Lines). My problem here is that, if I try to eliminate the record (related record action) from this interface, it does not occur anything and the following error appears I suppose it is caused because of the read-only grid generated in the interface (if I add no editable grid, it works fine). How can I solve this and being able to delete the invoices with the read-only grid inside?

Hi! I was trying to use a query to obtain a value from a database. Concretely, I want to return the value of a custom record field, with some conditions/filters (the Purchase Order ID should be equal to the one used in the process, and the Status of the Invoice should be accepted). All of this are conditions based in the same record type. I had to use the custom record field (total invoice price, Record 1) to obtain the sum of the price of each invoice line (Record 2).  As I said,  I have not only source fields in my records, but also custom record fields. The problem here is that I can´t refer to the custom record field (pointed in red in the last picture) via query, because that fields are not shown in the database (cloud console). And the querys directly point to the database.  So, what would you recommend me in order to get the value of the custom record field? Hi All, I have a scenario where i have to populate related action in one of the column in read only grid. For instance, the row with identifier 1 i will populate related action for identifier 2 in that specific column. The issue am facing is that even though i can open that related action with identifier 2, the name of related action is still showing like related action of identifier 1, Note: Am only facing this issue when am using a!recordData as source but I could get desired result when am using a!query record type.You can try this scenario making one value in column as a!recordActionItem(action: record action, identifier: fv!identifier+1 Please suggest if am missing anything here. Hi! I´m having a problem related with data. The data in my record preview does not suit with the data in the cloud database. When compare my site (page created by a record list) and the admin console, it seems to be OK, but the record data preview is not equal. What can be happening? 1. Correct Data (Cloud Database) 2. Correct data (record list page of my site) 3. Incorrect data (the problem is that the second "idPedido" value is one that should not exist, I used it in previous ocasions but was deleted). It should appear idPedido = 2 It seems like the "Data Preview" is saving previous idPedido that were deleted What can I do? Thanks a lot *Extra: I added another row and same occurs. Hi All, I have a site which has home page. On Home Page we have a grid populated from Record List, when a user clicks on a record link it takes user to record summary. On record summary, we have record action which opens in the Dialog box. The requirement is that when user clicks on a button on this dialog box, he should be taken back to the Home page in the same window. Is this possible? any workaround or suggestions?

We are creating new Appian tables in a schema with a large amount of data (approximately 45 million) from Oracle DB. We are experiencing significant delays when connecting to the data source and configuring the record type. After selecting the data source, it takes approximately 4 minutes to load all of the tables in the schema, which I believe is unnecessary. We occasionally get a timeout error. Both the search and browse features work the same when selecting the source. Even if we can select the table and sync it, it takes a long time to switch between the record type tabs during development. Every button click takes some time. I appreciate any suggestions you may have.

When we use Builders in interface , It will create Interface with rule inputs of given CDT or RecordType , I'm really curious to know how they creating variables dynamically(My guess is that they are running some java code in background) . As far as i know we can't create rule inputs dynamically ,If not correct me. Is there a way to create rule inputs of desired type dynamically??. I created a replica of Builders using functions like keys and runtimetypeof(), But i used local variables in value and saveinto parameters. I want to replace it with proper rule inputs.

Was the issue with Appian being unable to select the scheme in SQL server for recorded types/data stores resolved in 23.3?   Is there an ETA when this issue will be resolved.   This really slows down development on my team and makes appian much harder to use if you are pointing it to a database that has multiple schemes on it.
