Hello, I'm retrieving from DB base64 documents by record types from CDT queries and using it in the app, and I am having a problem when retrieving them. The application should be able to work with documents up to 2 MB, but the limit for queries is 1MB. Is there any way to increase this limit?

Hi! I have created two different Records (R1, R2). In my site, I have a summary view of R1, which shows some info + a Read-Only Grid of R2 (filtered by R1 primary key) Besides I have a related action (of R1) to delete the records of R1 My problem here is that, when I try to delete R1 I have faced different "errors" among the time: A) nothing happens B) an error appears (not able to delete) C) It deletes the summary view and the R1 field, but NOT the R2 fields Something similar occurs when I try to update records So, which recommendations would you give me in order to be able to delete/update two different records at the same time? I would like to hear the best practices. I was thinking about re-making each process model (delete-update) and add a delete/update records of R2 in each case. Would this be a good approach? I am trying to get a temporary table data by executing a stored procedure. This stored procedure is responsible to create a temporary table, insert some hard cored values (id and name as fields) and then dropping the temporary table. Before dropping Inam using select all statement so to get my data before dropping the table. But somehow I got the data which is similar to this, { { id = 1, name = Abc }, { id = 1, name = Pqr }, { id = 1, name = Uvw }, { id = 1, name = Xyz }, { id = 1, name = Ijk } } It looks like 2D list of map. can anyone help me in binding the data to excel using Export DataStoreEntity to Excel and Execute Stored Procedure smart services.

hello all, I am trying t write to a table using write records smart service. The data is being written in DB table but I do not have the records updated captured in my output variables of node. I am doing a single entry at a time and record has no relationship defined. One thing to note here that we have configured triggers on this table which updates some columns for the same table. We are using Postgres DB. has anyone else experienced the same situation. Node Configurations:

I have a read only grid sourced from expression which is getting data from an integration. I want to export this grid data to excel. So can someone please help how to do this. Stuck here as Export CDT to excel is deprecated.

Hi! I would like to change the primary key in my record and use another field instead (the created field would be a concat() from other two fields). Even though I have been trying, I´m finding trouble when trying to change the condition of primary key and give it to another field. I don´t want this primary key to be AUTO-INCREMENT and, when I try to put another field as primary key, an error occurs. Is it possible to eliminate the primary key and convert the other one into a primary key? Otherwise, how can I solve this?

Hi Team,I have a requirement for creating an audit table in that i need compare the existing data and updated data and need to add only changed field values. for this 1st I'm querying the existing data in a local var, then after changing some fields in the UI, I'm performing a save into operation which involves a!foreach which compares the queried data & UI rule input fields so when there is a difference I'm appending one row for that changed field in audit record type rule input(array). but if there is no change I no need empty- row in audit table. but some how my code appending empty rows for fields with no changes. Kindly provide suggestion it'll be helpful.Thanks in advance here I didn't change anything in one field but it gets adding null value

I´m trying to update a field of a record with new data (stored in local variable in my interface and passed correctly as a rule input) Even though the values are correctly saved, when I use the write records smart service it duplicates the rows and stores the value, with the rest of fields in null I just want to update that field of my record, not to create new entries. Should I use the a!update function? How and where can I configure it in my code? Hi, my client wants the search box and the filter style of a common Record Type. We implemented a gridfield with a!recordData as "data", but with time, it became very slow. I would like to implement the pagination, but with the a!recordData is not possible. Even, I tried to use the a!queryRecordType() and it works fine (it's very fast!) but in this way, we lose the possibility of having the checkbox and the user filters and the Excel export button, and so on... Does anyone know how to help me? I already tried to maximize the performance of the record type with default filters, but I don't know how to face this issue. Thank you to whom will help me!

Hello, For storing date and time for (dateTime type variable) in record I'm using now() function. But in record type its format is like : 9/10/2023 12:50 PM GMT+05:30 and in database it is of this format : 2023-09-10 08:06:33.100000. I want in record type and database should have same format like this : 9/10/2023 12:50 PM GMT+05:30.  As I'm using stored procedure to get data between two dates, but I'm passing the date format as 9/10/2023 12:50 PM GMT+05:30 and in database it is in this format 2023-09-10 08:06:33.100000, so not getting the data after executing stored procedure. Trying to find new info and gather more information on Tempo, browsing through docs and community posts, I have a feeling that Tempo isn't used anymore. Is Tempo deprecated? What could be the reason for it? From what I've understood is Tempo was used in Tasks, reports, Records & record actions. We now have Summary, News Fields shown from the record actions. I a newbie, correct me if I'm wrong anywhere. Also, is Appian more inclined towards embedded interfaces and sites rather than Tempo? If so, should I be investing more time in learning Tempo. Last question, from exams perspective, ACD100 if Tempo is legacy(or about to be) can the questions be based on older versions of Appian, where Tempo was more extensively used?

I have created a node with the SyncRecords Smart Service My record to update is called: "CPF_Lineas_Pedido" My primary key is a concat() from another two fields of the record: "CONCAT_PEDIDO_MATERIAL" (f.example, "Pedido1-Rueda"). This primary key is saved in the first interface of the process The process variable which I use to "Collect" the primary keys is correctly saved:  And as you can see, all the values are the same as the records primary key By now, all the field (in which I have created/updates via Query Database Smart Service) changes are correctly saved in my DB, but not sync (I have to do it manually to see the results in my Site) Do you think the problem is because I´m using a complex primary key (Text and concat value)? What can I do to fix and automatize my sync?

Hi! I have made a process in which my Invoice Lines (Record 1) are set with the status "Billed" in the end, after passing multiple logics. Now, I would like to query the Purchase Order Lines (Record 2) from my process model and set their status to "Billed" too. In this case, I have to apply the following conditions: 1) The Purchase Order ID is the same as the used in my process  2) The materials of the Order Lines are the same as the ones created in the process I have been trying with the query database smart service (update-set-where) but it gives me problems when trying to filter by a more than one string (materials) How can I afford this "update" in my process? Which smart services do you recommend me to use?

I have a rule rule expression which returns a datasubset in which the data has repeating rows. Since the data is coming from a view in mysql backend, I want to handle this in appian by getting only unique rows and remove all duplicate rows while still maintaining the paging. The data should be unique for 'stateroomRequestId'. Hi All, I currently have 3 tables, managers, employees, and a third table for foreign keys managers_employees where I have a primary key, a foreign key to the managers table and a foreign key to the employees table. When I'm trying to write to the DB I'm having an issue with the employees foreign keys since they can be multiple employees but they all belong to the same manager. Hi! I have a summary view with a read-only grid (from Record 1). When I run my process model, I make a query (type "UPDATE" and "SET") to change the status of one of the fields, and I need the read-only grid to update After I run the process model, the value of the variable in my Record Type (Data Preview) changes succesfully... But it does not change in my read-only grid (based on this record I have shown in the last image). To make it "update", I have to go to "Sync Options" --> Start Full Sync manually. After doing this, the read only grid updates. Y tried to use the refresh button of the read only grid but doesn´t work, only full sync What can be happening? Thanks a lot!

Brief Summary: I have a CDT with near to 500 fields that holds some values and just to mentioned I am not using any nested CDTs. I'm using that CDT inside an interface to hold values. I am worried if the application could face any issues in the future if it grows larger. I would like to know even if I have more than 500 fields, is it safe to use that CDT in the application or is it causes any issues in the future. Note: I don't wish to proceed for partial CDTs by breaking the entire CDT into sub-CDTs. Please list down what kind of issues my application may face, if any, down in the comments. Please help me clearing this and I would be gratefully for your help, Thank you.

Hi! I have a site page created from a record list (invoices) When I click in one of the Invoices Id, I access to a summary view (interface), in which I created not only additional information of the record "invoices", but also a read-only grid from another record (Invoice Lines). My problem here is that, if I try to eliminate the record (related record action) from this interface, it does not occur anything and the following error appears I suppose it is caused because of the read-only grid generated in the interface (if I add no editable grid, it works fine). How can I solve this and being able to delete the invoices with the read-only grid inside?
