Hi guys, I have an integration in which we are sharing the user tasks in other system with a hyperlink in the ID, like this: I have the requirement of give them the way of open directly the UI which display the task (TASK FORM) once the link is clicked. In other frameworks sometimes we can use query parameters to customize the content being displayed, but I'm not sure how can we implement this, since appian use an encrypted value or generic value for task forms: Someone can guide me or knows how to open a task form directly? in this case from outside? NOTE: The users will be using SSO (OpenID) to login into our application. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, We are trying to find if there is a way to generate an Excel, using a!exportDataStoreEntityToExcel() or other functionality, and start the download automatically without the need to access the interface after a while to download the Excel manually thought a link. We want to generate the excel and then download it in one click. Has anyone tried this before or know how it can be achieved? Thanks in advance.

I'm having requirement for sending reply email to the original email ,so my idea is to open the original email's eml file and send reply from that. Hi all, We are using a read-only grid to display data from a record and have the Export to Excel option available. The problem we are facing is that the Excel also includes the Edit and Delete Row columns which we added to the grid to add these functionalities to the interface. Does anyone know if we can select the columns we want to be included in Excel or how to delete these two columns? Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone, I am new to apian and I am bit stuck on logic for validating grid records on save button. I've updated the application object securities to Inherit from parent  then 1 object of application and 1 connected system object is now following securities from root folder respective to "Application" & "###SYSTEM_CONNECTED_SYSTEMS_ROOT_FOLDER" . So , how can I remove this inheritance security. Also, for root folders what is the default security. I'm also facing issues to set those.

Problem Statement : by using Self Service Analytics can i build elastic Search and it will show case me the data according to it ? Is there any feature or option to build a global search for entire project. If i Search like  i want List of Employees part of Some XYZ Project. then it should show case the data accordingly. Just like a google Search and show the Results(Grid, Reports etc) in Appropriate manner from the database. I have tried documentation but could not able to find anything. Hi Everyone, I have a requirement to send a reply email using Appian. Generally, I receive emails using the mail poller plugin in my system, and later I display them in the interface. Now, users need to send a reply email. Is it possible to send a reply email in Appian that is linked to the original email's thread? If not, are there any workarounds? Thanks. Hi team, How to implement autosuggest feature for  a!paragraphField ,as we do not want to use the   a!pickerFieldCustom due to the small size of the text box. Please suggest.

I am trying to use the Selection Node Input to limit and rename the fields I want to export to Excel.  However, I can not figure out how to set this up.  The documentation is no help.  It states to use the a!querySelection() and then the a!queryColumn() functions when setting up the columns. However, the configuration input seems to have the ability to add columns, fields, alias and visible without using the functions. I have tried to key in the fields, alias and visible into each of these inputs, but for the life of me, I can figure out how to add in more columns and adding just one selection throws an error, "Query has failed: Could not parse expression [1]. Details: Unexpected count of record variables (APNX-1-4505-005)" I have tried to write the Jason using the a!querySelection(a!queryColumn(),a!queryColumn(),etc...) at the Selection and Columns level.  This just throws the same error as above. a!querySelection( { a!queryColumn( pv!pe

How can we remove/delete the current working draft version of the Process Model so that it reverts to the last published version and removes all changes done in the draft version? If we load the last published version, we need to save and publish it again. It will create an unnecessary new version. Hence, looking for any other option if available.  Please suggest if there is any other way to do this.
