1.What is the difference between Run as whoever started this Process and Run as whoever designed the Process Model ?  Pls explain

Hi, I'm needing some direction on how to assign a user selection to a local variable. For some context: There are several drop down selections on my interface. Based on what the user selects in each category will affect the total price. So I'm gathering that I'll need several local variables, one for each drop down selection, and then a total where they are all added up. I just cant seem to figure out how to assign what the user selects to a local variable. Or maybe there's a better way to go about it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,  In my process model, I have a user input task (assigned to group A) then some script tasks and then I have an AND gate with two workflows coming off of it. Both workflows after the AND gate have user input tasks assigned to different groups, one being group A and one group B.  After the first user input task is completed by group A, then I would like a group A to be directly transitioned to the user task after the AND gate. I have the work flow path from the AND gate to the user input task assigned to group A activity chained but this doesn't do the direct transition. The other user input task, assigned to group B, after the AND gate doesn't need to directly transition. Any help is welcomed - thanks in advance!

Hi, I have an editable grid where I can update the data and add new employees. So far so good. When we try to click on "Add Employee", we were able to add multiple rows to the grid successfully with proper ID number. The issue is, by any chance if we delete the middle row(in this case, I have deleted row#5 item) (Image#2), the row number is not re-setting. Is there away, I can read number or rows in the grid dynamically and show this ID column values dynamically in a sequence.

Hi, I am using LightWeightNavigationSection pattern and when user click on the link like "Tasks" I am trying to load an interface which is having a formLayout, I am getting an error message like below attached (2nd screen shot). QQ: Can't I load a different user interfaces when I click on each menu item, where I have a formLayout with 'Submit" button?

Hi, I am trying to enable deadlines on process models and it is not working when I test it.I also tried to enable on the nodes inside the process, and it is still not working.What I need to do is set a time for the user, when a form is displayed, to take not more than 15 minutes to complete the form or the form shall automatically close and end the process.I enabled the deadline on the user input task separately and it is still not working.Anything I am doing wrong? or is there another way to create deadlines on forms? All selected values must be present in the choiceValues array, but value was 1 and choiceValues was 1."   even though given same as choiceValues as value,Can Someone suggest me on this?

In our application, tasks are assigned to users/groups and a person was able to view task even if its accepted by other user. But since our upgrade to 22.1 we are getting error if other user is opening it. Also when trying to view form through the instance we are facing the issue. Refer attached screenshot for error message.

I'm new to Appian and my users are asking to have an input mask on date controls.  They don't want to take their hands off the keyboard so they don't want to click on calendar controls, etc.  When entering dates they don't want to have to enter the /'s either.  Is it possible to use an input mask such as __/__/____ so the user can enter 01012022 and the control converts it to 01/01/2022 prior to executing validations.

Hi, I have a tab control like below. I am using a!richTextDisplayField, a!richTextItem, a!dynamiclink. When the user select the link, then accordingly I am highlighting the link and increasing the font-size. But, users are asking me to change the background color for the selected item. Any clue please. Thanks.
