Hi, Is there a way to retrieve the 'Requested By' userId in a post deployment process? It looks like the a!deployment() function currently does not retrieved details like requestedBy, reviewedOn, etc.,  Although the documentation contains an example: deployment(101, "reviewedDate") returns 12/21/05 2:28 PM GMTI get an error: Expression evaluation error at function a!deployment: The requested property “reviewedDate” is not available. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'm trying to run a HTML script that creates a chart and then exports it as an image in a process model. I'd like to then use that image (and other data) to create a PDF report using the Fill PDF smart service. However, currently for the image to export the HTML file has to be downloaded and opened. Is there a way to have it run automatically in the process model? I also tried the PDF from HTML smart service but that doesn't seem to support charts. Here is the HTML code I'm using to test this process. What is the best way to take in and map AD groups to Appian groups and then add or remove Appian users from an Appian group based on if a users are in an AD group? Basically syncing AD groups to Appian groups. I was looking over the LDAP plugin for a few hours, but to me it looks like it just adds, activates and deactivates users based on ad groups. I may be mistaken

I have a process model that presents a user with a confirmation page.  This page contains three links for the user to select from.  Currently, we have a timer that will skip this link after a number of minutes.  I was wondering if there is a way that I can set it up that when as user clicks one of the links it will continue on without the use of the timer.

Hi all, I've managed to configure AWS RDS SqlServer Data source in our Appian dev env application. Current dev environment is running on vmware private cloud with Sql Server data source. Could someone please suggest the procedure/steps how to replace current data source with RDS Sql Server? Do we need to modify each DSE objects OR any recommended systematic approach to achieve this? What are the objects that we need to check other than DSE please? Can we update the application module by module basis? (i.e. Part of the application/functions will retain the current/existing data source, some of the specific modules will can use AWS RDS source? ) It would be helpful if someone can shed the light on any available whitepapers/ case studies resource and share the details of known challenges for this use case please. - Thanks.

Hi all, I am attempting to use the following expressions user(loggedInUser(), "username") to retrieve the username of the currently logged in user. The expression is being used in a script task within a process model. When I run the process the expression returns Administrator instead of the actual username. When I test this expression as an expression rule however it returns my actual username. Any insight into the discrepancy would be greatly appreciated.

I need to make a odata request with couple of filters. One is GUID. For all other data types like String/Text and Number/Integer is working good. We have upgraded Appian to version 21.1. Now some functions are not working fine after the upgrade so we want to downgrade the Appian version back to 20.4.  Is it possible to do it? If yes, How can it be done? 

Hi All, I've to create the create a new application that's going to include thousands of existing objects.(For example 90K objects.) It means, if each page is displaying 25 number of objects in a page list, I'll have to navigate around 3600 pages to select all objects in each page and click "Add to Application" for each page.  Is there any quick work around for achieving this? For example, we can think about writing automated script for this process in Selenium. Just wondering if we have any another smart approaches to meet this requirement, please?  Thanks.

Hi, I am trying to deploy the process model which has old portal forms.I am getting below error when i deploy. The processModel  was not exported because it contains an invalid precedent: content [uuid=1234 location=Node > "test" >  > Task Form > Element] cannot be found. Hello, I am facing the below error while completing one task by clicking on a button. Also, I am getting the below error for the same task while I am trying to complete the same task using the Process Model's User Input Task's 'View Form' option: The process is getting stuck on this user input task without throwing any error. This error has been occurred after Appian 21.1 release. Is it something related to the new release? Please help me in resolving the issue. Sned e-mail smart service hangs without showing any errors on Process model Monitor Process View -> Process Detail screen. Also no smtp/mail related log messages available in tomcat-stdOut.log file.  Cusom.properties setup done as per https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/19.3/Mail_Server_Setup.html Tried using  toemailaddress/toemailrecipient - Not successful. I am noticing some behavior for the multipledropdown field component that seems unexpected to me. I have included an interface code snippet below, which is what the following example is based off of. The issue is this: When I select any value from the muldipledropdownfield in the code below, the most recent selection is added to the end of the array in local!selectedColumnsToDisplay. However, when I select a second value, the index of the previous selection changes, and it moves to the position that it is in the choiceValues array. For example, when the page loads the value of local!selectedColumnsToDisplay is {"Three", "Four"}. Then, I select "One" from the dropdown. Just checking if there any options/functions available to search specific text on Appian application's constant objects.It looks we can only search the content of expressions/rules not constants? For example, one of the constant object: EMAIL_VALUESwith array values Test1@xyz.com Test2@abc.com Test3@ijk.com If I'm searching for the text "@xyz.com", should show the result of constant name "EMAIL_VALUES".
