New to Appian

I'm just looking at the new functionality in the release notes for 23.4 and 24.1 and I see Translation Sets that allow you to translate your applications to another language. The walkthrough on the release notes show going in to an interface, clicking a button to generate strings which get put in to the translation object that then you export as excel and send to your translators, to which they fill out, send back, and then you re-upload. But I'm confused about a few things. 1. Our application has over 100s of interfaces, do we need to go through each interface and click this button? 2. If we do that, it's only getting the strings where the text is hardcoded as string values on the interface. We have always put our labels, instructions, etc in constants so that if we ever have to change verbiage we can just change the constant instead. This functionality is not picking up the constants? Is it expected that we remove all constants and go back to literal strings on the interf

Hi, I have a paragraph field in my interface, I am sending the user comments from this field into email. The line breaks are not retained and all the text is displayed in a single line. So I have figured out that, if I can store the expression type of the data into local variable, I can replace the char(10) with </br> while passing into email.  I need help in storing the expression format of the value. How can I do that?

Hi, I'm new to appian, and most probably this is a obvious one, well im strugulling. So I have a form, where I want to upload 3 different documents, therfore all of them are saved into document_cdt using the same id. On the interface all looks fine, looks like its saving: Therefore, when a really try to test its not saving the data into document_cdt: Is it because I have something worng here: should I add the documentationAppianID ?

Hi Team, I have a query to refresh the data in interface. The data gets updated through web api in cloud db. How to reflect this updated data in the interface without any refresh button. I am displaying the data through records in interface.

Hi All, I have a requirement  in my project. Stored Procedure  TEST2 must have error handling for below exception. i have to handle error handling methods to catch the error and return an error status with message to  xyz nightly  refresh  process model. xyz nightly  refresh must be able to retry calling the stored procedure if the duplicate key exception was caught. so below is the code which i was trying but it's not working, as i have used insert within try and inserting error details in a separate record_errors table within catch. But while i am debugging SP  through properties but it's not inserting error details in record_errors table so can anyone help me with any other approach or i am missing anything in it.  

I am trying to open  Acme Automobile Reference Application (AA) in the community edition portal. But I am getting "403 - Access denied. you don't have permissions to view this page." I need this to complete the activities in Appian Community's self paced course. Any help is appreciable. Also noticed that I got the same error for all the applications in the community edition Env. except "Community Edition Home"
