Appian 23.2 We have MariaDB as a default Database. We have our SQL Server Database hosted in AWS. Can someone please provide me with the steps to create a new Data Source? Can I directly go to Admin Console -> Data Sources ->New Data Source -> Add SQL Server Details? or any additional steps that we have to perform? Thanks

Hi All  I have successfully configured a single sign-in solution that is working perfectly for our clients. I am also configured Attribute Mapping like Create New Users Upon Sign-In and Update User Attributes Upon Sign-In it works fine, but when it comes to Group Membership Synchronization I add one group(AD Test) in Azure Ad in which one user will be added and the same group added(AD Test) in appian under the group type (A Brand) when i try to access the appian With that user credential, I am successfully get the acess the appian  but no user will be added to the appian group(AD Test). Could you help with what I did wrong here?

They want to implement a process where a user added to a specific group on the Azure AD side should also be automatically added to a corresponding group on the Appian side. These groups will have the same name and purpose in both environments. To elaborate: - Azure Group: [ABC Accounts] - Appian Group: [ABC Accounts] The aim is to ensure that any user added to the specified group in Azure AD is seamlessly added to the corresponding group in Appian without manual intervention.  Please provide guidance on the steps required to set up this automated user synchronization and any best practices to ensure smooth ongoing operation. We have a client who has been very happy with Appian on the Cloud for a good length of time, but is now questioning whether all the data being generated by our app and the app itself shouldn't be hosted on their own servers.  I know it's not typical to start Cloud and then later go self-managed, but that's what the powers that be are seriously considering.  We have recommended against, but they have what they consider to be compelling arguments to pursue hosting the app themselves. About the only guide we have to go on is the guide for going from On-Prem to Cloud (in reverse?), but I wonder if anyone else has ever had to perform this operation and can steer us clear of some of the pitfalls they discovered during Migration.  What we've been asked to deliver is a guide on how to Migrate the Cloud hosted app to their own server, along with everything we'll need to have in place before we begin. Hi All, I am starting up Appian for the first time after following the instructions mentioned in the Quick start guide.  After started the appian i can see, appian engines, data-server, search-server started sucessfully, and then i started the tomcat server and i tried access the appian through browser multiple times and  after looking into the tomcat-stdOut.log i found out the below observation I'm using 23.2 version Thanks In advance. Hi,          We have a HA Setup with Two Nodes. Appian Mandates both to be of the same version. So we need to have a downtime and upgrade both the nodes. Is there any way to do an upgrade without downtime.

Is there a way to filter the system logs by application? The use case is as follows: Our client has a ton of applications in their environment but they would like to consume/analyze the logs externally (using logstash for example) just for one specific application. That includes all types of logs (record usage, user login, design errors, etc.), not just one specific type (although I would think not all are applicable to be filtered). Any thoughts around this?

Hi! I created an app and I wanted not to let certain groups to execute record actions. I changed the security in the process model, so that only admins can be the initiator (same in rest of the objects), but when I eliminate myself from the group admins I still can execute the actions.  But the fact is that the views of my site in fact work if I change myself from groups. Why aren´t related actions permissions working?
