Hi all, I am trying to extract a data from PDF using the new AI SKILL feature. Attaching the screenshot of my PDF and Process Model. The Output is a stored in a CDT with the same field and name. This service does not give any data after execution and it takes 5 minutes of time for a simple process with 1 node. Kindly advice how to proceed.

Hi Team, I have a requirement of converting time in seconds to days, hours, minutes and seconds. I am using function intervalds() to do the same but I find when I give time (in seconds) for 30 days then the function does not return me the correct value. My required format is ddd:hh:mm:ss Eg : I tried : intervalds(0,0,2592000) and in response I got : -19::17:02:47.296 (Interval (Day to Second)). I am using appian version 22.2. Can someone help me in fixing the above and suggest me if we have any OOTB functions to do the same. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello team, I would like to ask you for an advice. In my tool there is one User Input Task which is assigned to a group "Processors". The users of this group accept the task and complete it. I set up an "Escalation" to reassign the task back to queue if some of the processors forget to complete it.   My problem is that in some cases, I cant really explain why, the task is not released and its owner remains still the user who accept it. So I created a flow for business administrators who can reassign a task to somebody else from the pool using the "Reassign Task" smart service in Process model. But even if we select the "ICH Processors" as a group to assign the task back, the owner of the task will not change and the task will be not available to accept it. Any advice please on how to resolve this? How to change the owner correctly? Thanks

Hi Everyone, I have a requirement of uploading an excel which contains around 50k records. Currently , we are using plugin to extract data from file to DB which is having automatic batch size. But, CPU utilization and heap memory usage is too high which is causing environment to break down sometimes. I came across Read Excel File Paging Function , But even with this function writing to DB had much complexity of mapping and all. Any other way that we can acheive this using other plugins or anything?

Hello team, is there any best practice on how to auto-release a task which was accepted by somebody from a specific group after some time, lets say 1 hour. In my case i have a group called "Processors" which contains approx 50 users. When a task is assigned to this group the users accept a task a work on them. I want to ensure that when somebody from the group accept a task but not complete it in 1 hour it will be autoreleased and reassign back to the whole group so somebody else can take care of it. Cause: javax.xml.bind.UnmarshalException: java.lang.RuntimeException: An error occurred while trying to get the TypedValue type (Id) from XML. XML node: null" To enable the system to allow the import of the application, we have modified the 'MANIFEST.MF' file, and this has worked on previous occasions.

My app is built on an Oracle Database. Would it be possible to overcome the 4000 byte of Text limitation we have for Synchronized Records fields? I know the VARCHAR2(4000) limitation is considered to be a standard column type by Oracle, then choosing the EXTENDED for param. max_string_size in the DB would make it an "extended data type", as CLOB is. But since CLOB is forbidden to become a Snyc. RT field, would my large VARCHAR2 columns be also forbidden? Asking for people who tried it. If no one did, I will ask the DBA, but could be easier to ask here ;)

Hi All, I have a requirement to convert an XML file to CSV, where the data points of the XML file can be dynamic. We cannot use CDT/Tables as the data points are not fixed and we need to use some mechanism that identifies the datapoints dynamically can convert to flat CSV file. Hello everyone. I need help. Am working on a process model for a MILESTONE (BAR) PATTERN interface. When I lunch "Start Process for Debugging", the MILESTONE form load for me to input data. After inputting data, I click next and the next step load until I get to the final step, and I click the submit but nothing happens when I click the submit button. Hello there, I have a Upload field where user uploads 50 rows of 2 columns data from/csv onto form. I have to read all those and display the data in editable grid before submission. To achieve this i have used submitUploadedFiles function with empty process model to start on its button click. Even though data displayed on Interface object correctly, throwing error on front end. Hi, me and my friend have an Appian Community Edition site where we both can access the Administration console, Appian Designer, etc.  I wanted to work with my friend on the application that is being built in his Appian Site currently. How do we both get access to the application and collaborate on it together? The goal is for both to work on the same application so as to make changes to it simultaneously from two different devices (Two different Appian accounts in this instance). Any help is appreciated

Hello, I've been training a document extraction AI Skill in one region and then deployed the AI Skill to a different region. Interestingly, I'm finding that the document extraction in the first region performs better than the document extraction in the newer region. Do AI skills have to be retrained in each region, like when you deploy from TEST to PROD? Thanks!

Hello Community,the more I am working on bigger scale projects with multiple devlopers, I am thinking about a kind of code merging functionality.Currently we have an "overwrite" principle. If i did changes to that interface/expression rule etc and press save then all changes previously done are overwritten. So if person a and person b are working on the same interface, the last one who saves "wins" and the changes of the earlier saver are essentially gone.Does anyone has insights if something in this direction is planned?I can see that difficult for records, decision tables or process models. But for interfaces and expression rules, it should be possible in my mind.Perhaps my idea is totally off the chart :)I am open to your opinions on that. kind regards form Hamburg Germany, Richard
