Hi All, I have a POC environment where I have some applications working in English US language. I deployed another application package 'ABC' to this POC environment with primary language settings as English GB. Now each time I want to demo my "ABC" application I need to switch my Admin settings Internationalization to English GB. I tried changing the PM primary language as English US for "ABC" but it is not working. Is there any solution approach where I can change the Primary language of my "ABC" application with rest of the other application so as I can work on same internationalization without changing everytime Arpit

Hallo community, we set up a "on-prem" Appian instance (actually on AWS) to develop and test custom plugins (especially components). General setup is OK, also instance is successfully registered as dev instance. Since it is just an internally used dev instance, we decided to use something like appian.###.internal.###.com to access Appian (left it on port 8080 for the sake of simplicity) Static/dynamic URLs follow the same principle: appian-dynamic.###.internal.###.com appian-static.###.internal.###.com Additionally we set the parameter conf.suite.DISABLE_STRICT_DOMAIN_SECURITY=true Unfortunately we have difficulties with the configuration of static and dynamic content URLs, so self developed components are not working properly. I am getting this error when importing Application in an environment. The recordType [id= uuid=13eb9112-5a87-4853-a549-499536e89c3c] was not imported because a required precedent is missing: java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException (APNX-1-4071-006) Any clue why I am getting this import error? and how this can be resolved?

I have run the Appian Health Check recently.  I chose not to automatically upload results to the community.  After the check completed, I downloaded/extracted the zip file.   Per the documentation, an Appian Health Check summary sheet should be available.   As I review the contents of the zip file, I do not see a Summary sheet. What in the extract should I be looking for specifically? Thanks

We have MicroFocus 12.56 v of Load Runner / Performance Center for load testing. However, Web HTTP protocol is not at all recording any client - server communications when we try to test the Appian application. Any suggestions pls. Thanks

Hi, While trying to update the user type of a user from Basic User to System Administrator from the Admin Console, I am getting the below error: The System Has Encountered an Error HTTP Code: 500 APNX-1-4198-019 An Error Has Occurred Expression evaluation error [evaluation ID = 56b19:29d6a] : An error occurred while executing a save: Expression evaluation error : External Reaction Function with name sys.smartService.internal3.updateuserprofile4, does not exist. Hi Team When users click on "Forgot password" they are not receiving email. However, when admin reset password for the account then they were able to login. Users even checked on spam folder. Any idea on this.

Hi all. Googling this question brings up valid suggestions regarding the use of automated testing for repetitive functions, using manual testing for UI tests, etc. However, I was interested in perhaps some best practices that take into account more tangible factors.  For example, is there a sweet spot for data entry values that make the decision more straight-forward? Let's say I have a process flow that requires data entries in multiple forms. For example, I need to test the 5th form in a flow, each form has 25 data entry points. Is it worth going with automated testing? What if it's the 3rd form with 10 data entry points? Looking for some best practices here or maybe your experiences with this kind of decision. Thank you.

How to use Tempo effective? Why Tempo shows me reports that were created just to allow interface to be visible on page (in Appian 20.4 you had to create report to add such report as page to site. Why Tempo shows me tasks on processes to which I do not have access?

Hello Team, I have a query regarding sign-in page links option in admin console. According to the mentioned functionality, the added links should appear on the sign-in page below forgot password. Hi experts, Our Appian instance is hosted on-premises and we also have an in-house SSO service agent. When users authenticate through the SSO service agent and request an Appian page, is it possible to bypass the login page in Appian by using the credentials generated from our in-house SSO agent, which was developed in Java?  (The current SSO agent does not support SAML.) Hi Guys, In my project, we currently did a webapi to get the base 64 from system and pass into different system as base64. Due to this in prod we are facing large memory sizing and I came to know instead of passing bas64 we have a option to pass todocument to reduce the memory size . However, my question how other system can read if we are passing document? Please confirm the approach is possible or else suggest some other approach. Thanks, Pradeep Sridharan

Hey Everyone,Not a technical issue just a question about the folder sizes in Appian. When I'm looking at folder I can see it has a size of 48.2 GB. But when I open it to see what is inside of it there are only a few items, where the size doesn't reach anywhere close to the stated 48.2 GB.

Hi, Is there a way to limit the number of concurrent sessions for users authenticating against SAML IdP, specifically Azure? We've tried configuring the limit as described in https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/20.4/Appian_Administration_Console.html#account-locking but it seems it's only applicable for Appian-based authentication.
