Hi Community, I am new to Appian. I want to know that is it possible that if I create two separate RecordTypes from a single database table? actually the scenario is, there is a single table from database which is being used on two different pages. so on one page when I apply security rules on RecordType it effects the functionality on the other page. so I am trying if its possible that I create two record types base on single table from database and apply security settings on one RecordType and keep the other RecordType as it is. Thanks.

We have a request I am working on and can not figure out.  A user does something in the system adding records to a table, a process task is started so another person can verify and if approved it goes ahead and approves it, if they reject it with a comment it is sent back to the original person to look at. They now want the ability so the original request can be deleted if put in in error, we have that part working.  But we are wanting to use the Cancel Process Smart Service to cancel the process task.  It is wanting a process id and can not figure out how to get the process id for the first entry when the user inputs the data. So the user inputs the data and the process is created for the task.   But then a little bit later the user goes back in and deletes the data they input, it will only allow them to do this if it has not been approved yet.  The process task that was created is still there and now need to cancel it. Hi Appian Experts In Excercise 9 - Create a Related Action - After completing all the step on last part  - No Response (System Stuck) Not able to proceeding even after pressing Ok button. I found some of explanation in appian Documentation like below ....(All of Appian's tutorials use the Appian Tutorial application as the reference application.) And I checked my appian cloud site and i found some reference tutorial application (examples .Human Resources,Appian Reail,Acme Solution,etc.....) For exmple Acme Solution reference application is used for tutorial of Appian Developer course andAppian retail reference application is for build reports from records and i found reference documentation.docs.appian.com/.../report-with-records.html My question is some of reference tutorial application in applian cloud site cannot found any reference documentaionand any reference tutorial course.As my understand all courses of online courses tutorial have appian reference application in appian cloud site?It's right ?How can i find those reference application in appian cloud site of reference resources. Hi Team I am in last part of Exercise  8: Process Modeling 101, Part 1, where I have completed the Edit and Add Vehicle Process Model  While "Start Process for Debugging" only Cancel (Yes) of Add Vehicle is getting debugged and getting right results  But when I Submit the Form using Submit button - No results. (Not able to proceed). Also Ones I enter data in one field the other field data is disappearing. Not able to fill the form at one go . When I press Submit button empty form. getting submitted and a new process instance has Not started in the Monitoring Mode and No new tab in the Process Modeler. Please Help. Thanks

I have three flat cdt's. I need to sent the data(pv variables) to the entities at a time through process model. I can pass the data through the interface using a!writeToMultipleDatastoreEntity () smart service. But not through the process model. How can I configure in the process model.

Hello, I am using "document()" Function, and found out that there are property parameters such as [expirationDate / lockedBy / totalNumberOfVersions / pendingApproval / approved / changesRequireApproval /url]. There is not enough explanation in the Appian documentation( https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/22.2/fnc_scripting_document.html ). I want to know what each property parameter is for. And how to use each property parameter. (For example, is there a place that I can set the property "expirationDate", and where does the appoval properties come from?) Thank you.

Need help!!! Exercise 8: Process Modeling 101, Part 1 In -> Add Dropdown Components When I am doing the below step Error is not getting removed even after doing exact step by step procedure. 5. Next, configure the Category field to display correct choices in the dropdown menu. Make sure the Category field is selected, and scroll to Choice Labels in the Component Configuration pane. Hello, I am new to Appian and currently I am trying to complete the Process Modeling 101: Automate Your Business Processes online course, but I am stuck at the Build an Application: Step 8, at the Test the Process section, I have to manually complete the Add Vehicle form with random test values, but I cannot upload an image to the form. I keep getting this message I have also checked the solution for this form AS_AddVehicle interface and it has the same exact problem. No matter which image I try I cannot upload it. Anyone knows what might be the issue? Thanks.
