Hi, I have a user input task within a process model, in which I activated the "save draft" funcionality...My doubts are: How much this draft will live in Appian?If the form has attached documents, what happen with them?  Thanks in advice

Hi, I have a concern about the text() function after Appian Upgrade 23.4.  The code: text( gmt(todatetime("01/09/2023"), timezone()) + intervalds(12,00,00), "dd-mmm-yy hh:mm:ss") & " AM'" The output: "01-Sept-23 12:00:00 AM'" /resized-image/__size/640x480/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/11/Screenshot-2024_2D00_01_2D00_02-at-6.08.20_2F20_PM.png The output keeps returning "Sept" instead of "Sep" and this is only happening for the month of September. The other months are returning the first 3 letters.  Does anyone know how to resolve this? 

I want to build functionality where when user lands to my Appian site , Show Dialog Box upon login with following details: 1. Message in the Dialog Box - “Please set your local time zone in Settings. Ignore if already done.” 2. There needs to be checkbox after the above saying "Please dont show this again"  3. Ok Button - If the user clicks on the checkbox in Step2 before clicking on the Ok button then the dialog box should appear again when the user logs in next time.

I have to create such a functionality where I have to show a search bar using which CA can drag and drop the document into interface. And the dragged documents should be put in a grid having delete icon besides them. How can I achieve this functionality in Appian interface.

Hello All, We are migrating our db from Mysql to Postgre.  Postgre uses some different datatypes as compared to mysql (eg. boolean) Has anyone worked on the migration of the whole db to postgre, if yes can you please provide few steps on best way to do it?  Esp the cdt(xsd) part. Database we have migrated, but we are finding hard time in updating the cdts. Thanks in advance!!! 

Hi All, As part of practice and POC purpose. There was requirement like i have created three drop down fields on UI and also there are also Three tables created DB(Tables- States, Cities, Towns). I run a small cleaning business in australia, so I need to collect reviews/feedback from customers, but I want to avoid negative reviews, so I am trying to create a page on my website that has buttons for redirection based on what customer choose. But the problem with a page with buttons is, users can anytime come back to the page and click again on other button to leave negative review, so it will backfire. So, I seriously need a fullproof method to use redirection method so I can collect positive reviews on GMB and negative feedback on a form so I cam improve on those points. Is there anyway I can use any platform different from Wordpress for my feedback page? Or can create a completely different feedback page with html? I am using the Fill PDF Smart Service from the PDF Tools plugin. I have a fillable PDF with an image field that I am trying to insert an image into. The image is stored in the knowledge center. I have the PDF Field value in the data tab set as such.  { {"name": "image", "value": todocument(pv!documentId) } } However, it is not filling the field and there are no errors when running the process for debugging. Please advise.

Hi - We are currently working on building a chatbot. As part of that we tried to mimic the traditional chat UI by leveraging Appian components. However, we are facing an issue displaying the latest message entered by the user on a card layout. A scroll bar appears in this scenario and we need to manually scroll it. Also, Auto height on card layout doesn't work as chat window getting bigger. Any alternative approach or a way that we can take care of auto vertical scrolling on a component? TIA

I am looking for a way to Archive process instances after few days(example 1 day) and then delete those archived instances after 7 days? Do we have anything in Appian which can support both of these requirements. I know we can use data setup to either archive or delete, but not both. Reason: I don't want to delete the instances immediately because that helps troubleshoot issues and i would need to archive as soon as they are completed as there are 1000s of instance generated on daily basis. Hi Team,  I need to populate the data in custom picker. But the data count is huge like 100000 rows available in the database. I have no other filter criteria to reduce the  count. My question is is it possible to populate the values after entering the first three characters of the data or is there is any alternative method available .

Hi All, I have a dropdown with names coming from an integration object but in order to use the integration I have a search field and then based on that it populates the names on the dropdown, when I save it works fine. But if for whatever reason the user decides to change the selected user and search( in the field I provided to search in the integration data - not in the one in the actual dropdown ) again I get an error of Interface Definition: Expression evaluation error at function a!dropdownField [line 169]: A dropdown component [label="Requestor"] has an invalid value for "value". All selected values must be present in the choiceValues array. (With each search the values and labels are different). Anyone that can help with this? thanks in advance

Can we test Appain application using LoadRunner  for Performance testing? If so, could someone guide me to the right documentation? 

We have Modified on Date filed , which is Date Time. Requirement is every hour scheduler runs and pick the data from now to past hour. If the current date time is 26/12/2023 11:30 AM IST then Start Date Time =  26/12/2023 11:30 AM End Date Time  26/12/2023 10:30 AM. Start Date Time I am calculating like =a!subtractDateTime(  startDateTime: now()) End Date Time: a!subtractDateTime(startDateTime: ac!startDateTime, hours: 1) above 2 are giving me proper startDateTime and End Date Time. but when I pass to query Filter, I am using the <=Strat DateTime & >=End DateTime. I have one record with Modified on is 26/12/2023 10:50 AM which is in between Start Date & End Date mentioned above. but still I am getting 0 Records from database. How to construct Start  Time & End Date Time get hourly data.

Hello All, Facing an issue while deleting the data from the Data Store entity, we are using "Delete from Data Store Entities" smart service in the process model to delete the data. Error: An error occurred while trying to delete data. No data was deleted. Details: javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not execute statement Entity and pid of the entity is passed correctly. Appian Version: 23.4.265.0 Please advise if anyone faced this issue earlier and how to resolve. Thanks
