SymptomsWhen importing a package containing a nested Custom Data Type (CDT), the Import Results screen displays "Status Unavailable" for parent CDTs that are not included in the package. The number of objects showing "Status Unavailable" on the import screen does not match the number of objects updated shown in the import log.CauseThe "Status Unavailable" message is expected when parent CDTs are modified as a result of importing a nested CDT, even when those parent CDTs are not included in the package. This is to warn developers that the parent CDTs will be modified upon deployment of child CDTs.ActionNo action is required. The "Status Unavailable" message is expected behavior and has no negative impact on the deployment or the application. Hi all,I've just noticed that the DocCenter plugins in AppMarket are only available in version 4.5.0, which requires Appian 26.9. Unfortunately, I can't download a previous version that is compatible with Appian 26.6.I can open an myAppian support ticket to request the ZIP files associated with DocCenter 4.4.2, but it would be great if previous versions could be downloaded directly from the AppMarket.I'm referring to the following plugins:DocCenter Suite Plugin | Appian AppMarketDocCenter Component Plug-in | Appian AppMarket

Hello Appian Community,I'm currently investigating password visibility behavior in an Appian Cloud environment running version 26.6.The native Appian username/password login page displays a masked password field, but there is no visible eye icon or Show/Hide Password option.Interestingly, the password visibility option appears to be available during the password reset/change workflow, creating an inconsistent user experience.I reviewed the following areas in the Administration Console: Authentication → Sign-In Page: Provides identity provider configuration, but no password visibility setting. Branding → Sign-In and Tempo: Provides logo and appearance customization, but no password visibility setting. I would appreciate clarification on the following: Does Appian 26.6 support a native Show/Hide Password toggle on the initial login screen? Is there a supported configuration or feature flag to enable this functionality? Why might password visibility be available during password rese

In my development work, I’m using several tools: `dev mcp`, `mcp doc`, `dev mcp skill`, and `aurora mcp`.I’m wondering about the difference between using `dev mcp skill` and `aurora mcp`—do their functionalities overlap, or are they meant for different purposes? As I understand it, `dev mcp skill` already covers the same ground as `aurora mcp`. Could someone please clarify? https://github.com/appian-design/aurora-mcphttps://github.com/appian/dev-mcp-skills

Hi everyone,  We are currently analyzing the performance of record views in our application to understand what contributes to the overall record view load time beyond the interface itself. During our analysis, we observed that the interfaces configured for the record views perform well when tested independently (around 2 second). However, when the same interfaces are rendered as record views in a site, the overall load time increases significantly (around 4 seconds), with an additional 2–3 seconds spent during record view loading. This isn't isolated to a single record view—we're seeing the same pattern across multiple record views. We also notice that the additional delay is more pronounced in Production and higher environments than in DEV, which makes us wonder whether larger data volumes or other environment-specific factors could be contributing. Fun fact is DEV has more data volume than PROD. So its weird. Maybe its Infra issue? We're trying to un

Have questions or feedback on the Appian Dev MCP? This is a great place to ask them.  Appian’s Dev MCP plugin can be found on the Appian App Market here (https://appmarket.appian.com/listings/appian-dev-mcp), as well as a read-only version intended for production use or other environments where it’s important to avoid any design object changes (https://appmarket.appian.com/listings/appian-dev-mcp-read-only).  Documentation and installation guidance can be found here: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/latest/devmcp.htmlAnd finally, our public repo of skills to install alongside the MCP can be found here. We welcome contributions if you’ve developed a skill or skill update you think would benefit other users. https://github.com/appian/dev-mcp-skills

For Appian AI Skill for Document Classification how to check, how many AI Actions it consumed. I can able to check for the GenAI skills on object itself or in output tab of the process node only but not for the classification type AI skills. Cause we have 200K Ai actions per month to spend for Appian Standard Tier. Just need to check how we can find out the expenditure of AI actions for the Classification AI Skills.

Hi ,We recently upgraded our platform to version 26.9. After the upgrade, we noticed that the AI Skill object is still showing input and output token consumption. As per our understanding, in version 26.9 it should show AI Actions consumed instead of input/output tokens.Has anyone else observed this behavior after upgrading to 26.9? Is there any additional configuration or update required for existing AI Skill objects to reflect AI Actions consumed? Thanks!
