Hi, We are planning to use LDAP for users and groups and control Appian security. Do we still need to create the same set of users again in Appian. Can someone advice on this. Thanks

Hi all, We are doing some cleansing in our environments and we want to know what was the last time a process model has been used. I tried the process reports, when analysing the process models, I can't get other than the last modification, but not the last usage. In monitoring or process reports for Tasks, I can get what is currently active or recently active, but not any kind of historical view. In the health check, there is a tab named process sizing that looked promising but does not contain that information either. I wonder if we can get any other source, of in anyone knows in table in the Appian model that we can query. Thanks.

I am trying to install Appian but I am encountering an error on starting the application server. logs: [View:/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/12/tomcatStdOutLog.txt:320:240] also tried this https://community.appian.com/support/w/kb/1138/kb-1718-tomcat-fails-to-deploy-appian-or-start-all-services-successfully but the error still exists.

how can i add the UID table which is present in the another data base tables  like employee personal details database base record doesn't have the UID table which i want in the my employee personal details but it was present in the employee UID details database how can i get that ?

Hi, I am trying to export Appian code from existing server and Import to the new server. In the Import process I have encountered with an option "Import Customization File (PROPERTIES)".  Where can I get this file. Do I need to Import separately or will it included in the Exported code. Hi, I have two applications and the respective sites for those applications for now. In future these count of applications may grow. Now, I got a requirement that I have to provide a common interface which user can use to navigate the respective site based on the application groups user belonging to. Some users may have access to both sites and some users have access to a single site. Can someone advise how and the best way to handle the situation.  Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have configured a data source and TEST CONNECTION also showing "Test successful". Now, when I try to create a Data Type with the option "Create from database table or view", it is not listing any of the tables or views from the SQL database. Do I need to use any specific object to read these properties and form a connection string or do I need to follow any other process. Can someone advise. Thanks.

We have a requirement where we need to configure Azure AD B2C as the IdP for SAML and subsequently make calls to an API using the SAML Bearer Assertion as Authorization Grant feature. The customer is unsure on how to configure Azure AD B2C correctly. Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, we would highly appreciate any assistance or guidance.

When using SAML it appears that sign in links are not displayed. It would be beneficial if these where visible even when SAML is used. https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/18.3/Appian_Administration_Console.html#sign-in-page-links A lot of times customers need a way to notify someone that a user account is locked, or needs to be created. These sign in links are great for this use case. But it seems like they do not display when using SAML. 

Hi all, I have a question about setting up multiple IDPs in Appian. Specifically, can we use the same entityID, LoginPage for other IDP? We already have used https://<subdomain>.appiancloud.com and /assertionConsumer for login page. Do I have to use it for the second IDP configuration? Or I have to create a separate links for the new IDP configuration?

I want to get latest version number of 50+ appian objects. Is there a way to write some script to get there version number based on their names. Currently i had to open each objects manually and note its version number.

I dont want to create task report and queryprocessanalytics to do get the status. Is there any other easy way of getting it?

Hi All, I'm trying to come up with automated process to present the data from 'system logs'. As an example I'm interested in system logs\audit\sites-usage.csv report. I would like to either: Create Dashboard/Report to present the data directly from that log Create a Process Model that will get the data from the report and insert it into Data Store Entity Does anyone know if it's possible? Can we refer those logs in a process model? Thank You!

Because of some reason I have not logged in my account from last couple of days so now my account status is stopping so how to reactivate my appian account

When logging into Appian community, I cannot manage to reset my MFA, and the Email MFA, has consistently taken 15-30 mins to send the one-time-verification code to my email. Commonly at this time it is already expired.  This essentially makes my Appian Community account unusable, since some days I cannot login at all due to this issue. When I go to the support page, to open a ticket, it just shows a blank page with Manage Accelerators on it. My guess is this is because I am a member of a Account where I am not a Support Contact, so I cannot open tickets... Even when they are related to my personal account. https://forum.appian.com/suite/sites/myappian/page/support So to recap, I cannot reset my MFA, I cannot submit a support ticket to reset my MFA, and the email based MFA does not work consistently and some days not at all.
